Since the JP novel features Land Cruisers, Crichton changed the vehicles to Ford Explorers in the TLW novel to keep in line with the film. In TLW, the film, however, Mercedes cars were used. (From: Acrocanthosaur)

Very good, I'll have to agree with para and not carna:P Althought I don't know if it's entirely scientifically accurate, it makes for an interesting read. The plot is unique, even though we haven't fully found it out yet:) Evolution is so nifty! heh:)

Para is entitled to his opinion, but I think he's way off

The story really isnt much, there isn't even a plot yet. Dialogue is shaky(dont worry, almost all people are bad it), no character development or descriptions. A plus is the mystery involved - which is basically all that intrigued me

    CARNARATING -

I really liked this idea. Very original. Great style of writing. I was really sucked in. However the sequences were slightly jerky, and it seemed almost like you wanted to get this scene over with fast. Its length was disappointing. I found I wanted to keep reading more but it had ended. No noticable grammer/spelling errors. But I'm not a perfect proof-reader and neither is Spell Check. You're off to a very promising start. With some more length to your chapters, this could be GREAT.

This is one of the best ideas I've seen here. It's good to have a change from the usual setting for dinosaur stories.
