I'm 16 and do not consider my writing any good, although many of my classmates can't write for crap which contrasts with my very little extra experience, I truly am never really happy with my writing, though I gained some praise for my unfinished Jurassic Park Japan, I'm just never satisfied.

Now for critism... I enjoyed the short chapter but feel as though you need to make them a bit longer, I wanted more on this Ember guy... Other than that, I think it's fine for a guy your age... only a year younger than me and you write better than me at that age a year ago.

And Actually this first chapter was just a tad bit more decent than anyone here has credited, I don't know many other High School fifteen-year-old students that are into writing fan fiction... Keep at it and you will definitely improve.

And that is fine. You just said it in a very awkward uselessly mean way.

If you are really 15, then yes, I'm younger than you, but only by a year. The fact is, I just don't find his writing to be that good, especially if he's 15.

Actualy Rex, he writes pretty good for the average 15 year old. Sure, he has some mistakes, but everyone doesn, even experiance 40-year old writers make mistakes. The only reason nto all of them make it into the finished product is because they have editors that find and sometimes fixes the mistakes for them.

ummm ok...i wasnt realy trying to defend myself...i seriously did win it for my basketball leauge...i was 2nd place....

"i just won a 50 dollar scholership for a essay contest"

One, stop trying to defend yourself. I doubt you won that contest, unless you're 12 or younger. The reason I said "where ever you live, writing isn't all that important" was because you don't write like a 15 year old in the least. So that comment makes a lot of sense if you are indeed 15.

Yes tyranno, I am sure because of a few writing errors in this story it proves whereever he lives doesn't care about writing in the least. The evidence is so clear, I feel stupid not being able to see it.

That made it for me as being one of the stupidest comments to make it into the comment section of a Fan Fic.

This story did not hold my interest in the least, and I guess where ever you live, writing isn't all that important. You jump from past tense, to present tense and it's rather annoying. I didn't like it, what can I say?

    thanks....im only 15

Pretty decently written. Not great, but diffinitly not too bad either. Actualy reminds me of when I was about 16/17 years old, and everyone kept saying I was better then everyone else in the class at writing, so if you're older then 17, then forgive me, but if you're 17 or younger, then that's diffinitly a compliment. Even if you're 32, it's written decently enough to hold my interest and not be really annoying, so that's diffinitly a plus.
