I'm thrilled that you dislike Travis, as it was my intention to make him distinctly loathesome. You know, the kind of guy who dresses perfectly and acts like he's just fantastic, but deep down he's a real sleaze.
I'm also happy you approve of my new characters. I was originally toying with the idea of just keeping with the original cast, but I thought this story really NEEDED some new characters in order to be fresh and interesting.
It's cool that you mentioned you felt Stark got what he deserved in the film. Because my aim, as the story progresses, is to gradually challenge your original views of the character, and add more depth and substance to what makes him tick. As Dieter is my main star, I really have to make the reader relate to him and support him, to some extent.

The group that paid Stark to let them sneak on board, they all seem very ill-prepared, which will be fun to watch, as the story progresses. I almost thought for a second there that the woman with them was going to be Sarah Harding, since I don't think she would really go to that island alone. But, I was wrong. :)
And this Travis guy. He's very unlikable. I think that was your plan though, so it worked. I don't like him. lol.
