I hate it when that happens. try to work on present and past tense. Trust me, i had the same problem when my fan fics where written, then i had to edit all of them, hopefully nobody noticed.
Good luck, i have no idea why nobody is reading this stuff becaus it's very well written. It's a very good story that doesn't blow you away with action. It waits and makes you come back for more. I suggest everyone should read this series. it is not to be ignored.
