Well, I am a fan of the Zelda games, and of Link, and the beginning of this story was very enjoyable to read. I'm glad I finally took the time to read chapter 1. :)
I especially like your use of blank lines between paragraphs. I don't know why exactly, but for some reason it makes me read and grasp what I'm reading faster.
