I was actualy thinking in the end, to have the Zerg win and the Humans end up pulling out but I ended up changing my mind before the end. I could always change it back to the original idea though.

Eh...... I liked the first one overall a lot better. It doesn't really seem to progress the story; in fact- several steps back are taken at times, ie resurrecting Kerrigan.
On the positive side, I liked seeing some of the unused heroes from the game, like Tom and Alan. Jack getting turned seems like a repetitive cop out- and now that assumingly Tassadar has been turned for whatever installments, it just seems very drawn out and uneccessary. I mean, just in this story alone, you introduce a ton of new charecters just to kill off before the end, with not a whole lot happening. Kerrigan and Jack are dead, but who knows? After all, we thought she was killed 2 times before. Assuming that it was however Jack And Kerrigan's last appearance- it doesnt much matter. The new glowing eyes person, more than likely Tassadar, can fill the same role but better.
It seemed to me that in the first one, you took steps to really move the story along; the end was clear, you could easily outline what has been accomplished. I feel like you were going for a darker, bad guys win tone- but unlike, say, Empire Strikes Back, nothing really happens to suggest that we could tell. Sure, a bunch of people died, but by the end theres new heroes and new villians and not a whole lot to show for what came before.
