Ironically, Star Trek was cancle din it's first season. It wa sonly later in syndication, did everybody fidn it and turn it into a world phenomenon. Conventions, merchandise, 4 spinoff series, conversational tapes in Vulcana nd Kilingon, if not more. And one college course (The Matrix also hit college, too.)
