'Moveable feast' is a rarely-used phrase that refers to a holiday that can fall on a different date each year (like Easter). So when Roland yells 'Let's get this movable feast underway!', refering to his large group of potential T-Rex snacks, TLW scribe David Koepp is ironically changing the definition.

See that's what I am talking about jpreal, I mean how can you call yourself JPreal and preach that a JP movie should go straight to video. Jeez, maybe Dan should create a new page for the haters called www.dansjp3hatepage.com J/K.

Anyways, I agree with Overaptor, it hasn't even been released in some parts of the world. And I still think that JP3 will surpass the 200 mil. mark in the US. It has probably another month until it goes into the dollar theatres.

Couldn't have said it better myself Bizzy_D ;) Anyways, as for JP4.. there's so much buzz about it here, but is there proof there'll even be one? I cross my fingers and my toes for it, but I haven't heard anything official. And if it was, it wouldn't be milking the franchise just yet if they just get the dinos to the mainlands..

Don't forget, as school starts next month, Princess Diaries will lose it's core audience. JP/// can still get loads there. I bet Spilebegr woulda talked, or another director. Hollywood is just beginning to accept the Net as a source of promotion/news. Soon, it'll be a regular thing.
And remember, Universal wnats several franchises for home video anyway. So, there's always a place for dinos on direct to video. Though if Spielberg says I wanna 4th, they'll definitely be one. And of that doesn't do good, Spielberg will lose all power for a 5th in theaters.

I really want them to make a JP4, just as long as it's not like Arnold Schwarzenegger on the island killing the animals with his bare hands.

Anyhow, I still believe that JP3 will surpass 200 mil. in the U.S. , I mean it's only been 19 days. I t will probably be in theatres for another month anways. I know that I will go see it probably 3 more times.

Now who says Joe didn't know what he was doing, I thought he did a great job and I also liked that he kept talking to JP sites about stuff. I personally hope he comes back.

I think that by next week, Jp will be making more money than Princess. I'm really hoping for a 200 mil Jp3... But it don't look good... it's already beat Fast & Furious and Tomb Raider, next is Pearl Harbor with 193 mil. I think JP3 will beat that or come close. Either way, it will beat the apes!

I just thought I would put in my 2 cents on this subject. Now come on everyone...you must know that The Princess Diaries was gonna be ahead of JP3...just because of the fact that it appeals to kids. There hasn't been any kids movies in the past few weeks so that is why the princess diaries made a good amount of money. Also, I would also think that there will be a JP4 just because their gonna milk the franchise for all it has. According to boxofficeguru.com jp3 has made 146.8 million in 19 days...now that is good. I'm sure Jp3 will make anywhere from 170-200 million domestically. Also, don't forget that internationally it's doing really well too. So, what's the worry? Anyways...now take a look at the batman series. The first one made 250 million domestically, the second 160 million, the third 180 million and they made a 4th which didn't do to well because the story sucked. But, with that you should know that Universal is gonna milk the franchise of JP. So, just wait and see. I do hope they don't do JP4 (if done) on an island...that's getting old for the non-JP fans. They're gonna have to get those creations to the mainland to reak havoc. Hope Johnston comes back for a 2nd ride. :D Here's hoping.

JP3 did very well for being a third film. Every thing it maked now is profit so....let the games begin

I Don’t think that is the case. I think people who were really disappointed with Jurassic Park 3 are the ones acting up. As for the grosses, It will not hit $ 200 Million. $170-175 maybe. The movie disappointed too many people to hit that mark.

I noticed that as well, it seems like non-JP fans just come here to bug all of us. I don't get it...

Anyway, it's not that big of a deal that JP3 dropped to 4th. It might just get $200,000,000 domestically, I wouldn't give up on it yet. Although I will admit it is gonna be hard. Princess Diares looks like it is a cute movie for kids (it also has a cute star :) but I must say I am suprised it pulled ahead of JP3.

Oh well, we shall see what the future holds for the Jurassic Park franchise in the near future...

I still think they will make a JP4, just because the ending of JP3 leaves an opening for it. Of coarse, one has to wonder, how many times can people stumble on to an island that is supposed to be kept away from human contact by the coast guard.

By the way, why does it seem like a lot of people on a JP3 website don't even like JP? Are you here just to annoy the rest of us???

Well, we all knew Planet of the apes was going to fall big. Jurassic Park 3 took another 49-50% drop, and with that, It safe to say that it will not make $200 Million Dollars. It's the least successful of the series.

Say good bye to Jurassic Park 4.
