Steven Spielberg was very impressed with Ariana Richards (Lex) bloodcurdling screams during her audition (she did it for 2 minutes straight), comparing them to Fay Wray in King Kong (From: Utahraptor)

Maybe I spoke too soon....a couple of REALLY negative reviews popped up over at Aint-it-cool-news, and more negative ones at Dark Horizons...whereas JP3 had mixed reviews that tended to lean toward the "it's a fun popcorn flick" bit, reviewers seem to be saying that POTA is actually a bad film except for the effects. Now, they're saying this and it sounds like the critique could just as easily be about JP3, but for some reason the same reviewers that said that JP3 was a fun summer movie anyway are saying that POTA is a disappointment. Go figure.

    yeah, finaly!
I wish I coeld see it more thimes but than I need to wait untill it in my theater.
because I seen it in london but I can't get back, and I am from Belgium.

PoTA will and MUST never beat
JP3!! Burton's Apes must not beat JP3, and that's final. So what if he's a great director? JP3 is scarier and deals with a more serious issue, albeit in a rollercoaster thriller movie. Philosophical messages my ass!!

I know that I'm going to see POTA this weekend, but I'm also buying yet another ticket to JP3!

I've learned to stop predicting box office. I was worried JP3 would do badly since there is a lot of hatred toward Lost World. I thought people would feel burned. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that people are still loyal to the dino franchise! However, the sudden death of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within was horrific. I have no clue what will happen with POTA. Glad I could help. Haha.

POTA will probably beat JP3 in the long run. They've really been pushing it in the media lately, and the buzz on it is really high, higher than it was for JP3. I think POTA will come close to setting a record this weekend.

POTA will never catch up to JP3, even if it does make a lot of money, JP3 has way too much of a head start. As long as ticket sales keep up as they have been (around 5 million a day!!!) POTA will never beat it at the box office.

JP3 needs to make just $140 million to make the top 100 movies to make the most money at the box office!! (fact: JP1 is at #5, and TLW is at #24)
