You have got the ratings wrong.... an M rating is only a recommendation not a restrictions to persons over 15 years. If an 8 year old wants to go see it by him/her self they will have no trouble getting in to the feature. If Jurassic Park III got a MA 15+ rating...then that would mean that persons under 15 years will not be able to get in without parent or adult guardian. Get your facts straight!!

JP has a bloody goats leg, goat being swallowed whole (as well as bone crunching), Generro, Malcom is very bloody, Nedry (even they don't show it it is still very gruesome). Arnold's arm/stump. T.rex eats Gallimimus, and more

TLW Eddie's two halves :), Carter gets eaten alive (blood running down stream). The annoying spanish guy gets stepped on, the increasingly annoying burke (how dare they portray Bakker that way:(] gets eaten cascade of blood. raptor in the long grass, impaled raptor, T.rex eats guy grphically hearing the death sounds,

JP3 little blood on boat, guy w/ a little blood on arm gets eaten, some blood on windshield, no blood when Spino gets guy w/cell phone. rex w/dead lambeosaur, spino cracks rex's neck (as un-scientific as it is un-bloody) dudesky stabbed (no blood) neck snapped (cool!! but no blood), Pterasaurs peck at billy, show nothing,
THE VIOLENCE SCALE!!! for p13 movies
    JP: 3out of 5
    TLW: 4out of five
    JP3: 2 out of five

The title for this bit of news is misleading. A higher rating seems to imply that it got 4 out of 4 stars or something.

At 7:02:13 PM on 7/23/2001, TimMurphy said:
yeah the 'M' rating really means nothing. You can still go and see the movie, just to be aware really that is supposed to be a warning that only 15 years or higher should watch.
I was over 15 and went to see Somthing about Mary and they wouldn't let me in, and i was old enough :(

I think we can expect a www.dansjp4page.com as soon as it is confirmed (by Johnston or Spielberg and company) that an actual Jurassic Park 4 movie is in the making. Dan probably wouldn't go to all the trouble of making a website as cool as this one without a solid confirmed movie to base it on. The last thing we want is for Dan to waste our time and his with a bunch of rumors, only to be let down when we find out it's not really being made.

Even so, if it is confirmed that JP4 is in the making, I suspect that Dan will be on the top of yet another great site.

two T-rexes tore Eddie apart. The one TRex lifted him up by his leg, tossed him way up in the air, and then they both bit him in half. Pretty cool actually. The violence in JP3 is nothing compared to the other ones. I mean in JP when the lawyer got eaten, that was pretty violent too. So was when Muldoon got eaten by the raptor (even though they didnt really show him). Overall, i think that Jurassic park 3 was an extremely big letdown on the violence factor.

It is without a doubt the least violent of the 3. The deaths from the spino are more implied than actually seen. The most violent scene was when the raptor snapped Udesky's neck (which by the way kicked ass). That doesn't stand up to two rexes tearing a man apart.

a guy gets stepped on while still wiggling around another guy gets ripped in two, that alone is more violent than jp3, and there is more.

Maybe they will leave the "human neck crunching" sound effect in for us then... :)

Good one. That will be worth the 43 day wait from the US release date then.
