Ebert has no true taste for movies. Movies like American Pie, Scary Movie, JP3, Deep Blue Sea, Anaconda, Fast and the Furious, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Tripple X, Spy Kids, Signs, and any other stupid movies? Thumbs up? Give me a break.
And since this was a non-JP3 bashing section, and the day that I was pissed off after seeing JP3, I'll simply say this: JP3 SUCKS THE BIG ONE! I HOPE YOU FUCKING DIE FOR THIS SHIT, JOE JOHNSTON. YOU TOO TEA LEONI! I ANTICIPATED ALL THESE FUCKING MONTHS FOR JP3 TO BE A PERFECT THRILLER, NOT A FUCKING KID'S MOVIE.

Just got back from seeing JP3. First of all, this is no Jurassic Park. Second, it was too short. Besides that, it's great fun! This one beats The Lost World by a mile, and the thrills are plentiful. I've been following everything on JP3 for half a year now, and I have to say, my expectations were pretty damn high. True, the movie didn't live up to those expectation, but what movie can? The movie was everything it promised to be, and a bit more. A superbly crafted thriller that's riviting and action-packed. My grade: B+

frankly, i'm a bit surprised at ebert. i know that he's always pretty much been the critic who seems to take movies more for what they are supposed to be and what THEY wanted to accomplish, instead of usually having some strict regiment of what does and does not make a good film. however i find myself disagreeing with him on a great deal of movie reviews these days; but i can't say i disagree with his jp3 review just yet as i have not seen the film yet.

When someone asks me if a movie is good, I always say "It depends on if you like that kind of movie" or "I can't answer that, you have to figure that out on your own." All critics should be fired since all they do is cause people involved in films to loose money. GRRR!

For instance, while everybody was shitting on Titan A.E. and Final Fantasy, Ebert gave both those movies glowing reviews. Same for Phantom Menace.
