Jeff Goldblum is a great actor and I think he needs to be in JP3. Digalot was right, he did give JP a back bone with the chaos theory. I am not sure of how big his role should be in JP3, but he should be in the movie.

I hope Goldblum is in the third movie, but I hope he plays the smart, witty, wiseman like in JP1. Goldblum is indeed a very good actor, and no one could ever fill his shoes as Ian Malcom.

In case you didn't notice, I was DEFENDING Goldblum. And what I meant by not having much to do in the first one, I was talking action-stuff. Goldblum had two big action scenes with the Rex and then he was put on the sidelines for the rest of the film, recovering from his injuries. What did he have after the Rex Jeep chase, like two lines? I also wish they would've kept his last line in the movie that was in the shooting script. It was when Hammond got back in the helicopter and they were leaving the island, and he told Hammond "I'm sorry, John. I really am." I don't know if they ever shot that, but it would be nice to see it. The DVD unfortunately will not offer any deleted scenes from the first film, according to the press release, which is understandable considering there was basically so little they could put back into the movie. Spielberg shot a pretty minimal amount of footage and scenes for it.

What do you mean Goldblum did no have much to do in the first one He was the comic relief and he made the story actualy have a back bone wich was the chaos theory

Naturally I disagree strongly about Goldblum not returning, but what are you talking about, he didn't have to do with anything? He didn't have a lot to do in the first one but he sure had his share of cliffhangers in the second one. My guess is that you've succumbed to believing that outlandish false scoop that this will be a Lost World prequel. Sorry, I just couldn't understand your wording.

Somehow I doubt they magically signed so fast, when there wasn't a finsihed script, and they were holding out.
As for the Turner rumor, remmebr the Jerry O'Connell is Eddie Carr one. Months on this, then no he's not. In the last month before airing, Jerry's back as Eddie's cousin Jutison. I think this one will be around for a while. Or else is true.

I think someone mentioned about how Star Wars episode 1's full title wasn't reveiled right away, and they had a different logo at first.

I'm hoping thats the case with JP3. JP3 just sounds so plain.

I'm guessing, since they've already unveiled the logo, that JP3 will just be called "Jurassic Park 3". Meaning I picked a good domain name. :)

i don't think goldblum should be in it because he had nothin to do with anything but going to site a for the tour and going to site B as we know of...

What, Kathleen Turner in a JP movie? Thats messed up! But it could be true. I,m sceptic about the Costa Rican news papers. By the way Dan the slashes for the number 3 are awsome. Oh and one question when we find out the name of Jurassic Park 3 will the website name be changed too?

At 4:50:57 PM on 6/27/2000, GoldblumRules said:
Yeah, it's interesting that all the JP3 rumors are popping up hot and heavy in these Spanish newspapers... and not in any American publications. Is someone in Costa Rica or Mexico going to know that Attenborough, Neill, and Goldblum have signed on before the Hollywood Reporter or Variety? Doesn't sound likely, as much as I want to believe the information.
