    That's actually a reasonable observation.

    Not that it matters.

Especially since a good number of us are gonna go see the real thing in just 4 days (or 3, depending on how you reckon such things).

Speaking of which, I pity the foreigners. Honestly, I do. They really get screwed up the you-know-what when it comes to releases. It's not fair. =/

when you tape a tv screen without any hz-transformer you get black lines on the screen...this one hasn't so I don't see why it can't have been taken from a movie screen. The square format of the picture is of course due to the angle he filmed it, maybe he wasn't sitting right in the middle.

Re: Spino/Rex fight: sorry to report, it is 10 seconds long - I think 3 shots total Very disappointing, and not a climactic fight either. Yes,the ankylosaurs are in only two shots.A ceratosaur appears - again, breifly. Unfortunately, the spino is a little disappointing too. And could the brachiosaurs be any fatter? I did enjoy the flick, though- first 30 min are pretty solid(loved the plane crash)

and look at the lower part of the picture, you see heads... and the "TV frame" could be a movie screen frame or the wall behind the screen is brown or wooden. In my theatre in Haiti, the screen was framed... also for the size, the screen is porbably smaller therefore they'd have to cut part of the movie to play it and he didn't need to have a flash only KODAK film!!!

and one note on the rex X spino fight...it's obviously going to be special effects-packed. They wouldn't go to all the trouble of building that huge spino animatronic for a few cameos throughout the movie. They obviously built it for the glory of the climax. And judging from that clip from the Regis show the other day (when Leoni was on) that spino is going to wreak some major havoc...I'm personally expecting a fight with more special effects than X-Men

Ectocooler, you are badly, baldy wrong. You are either outright lying, or saw some snippets of the fight and thought it was the whole thing or something. I know from reading the fight in the Junior Novelization, hearing information from Bob, and seeing excerps from it. The fight is at least 2 or 3 minutes long, and as I've heard it, it's more than 5. That sounds to me like an incredible fight scene.

    It's a hoax, from a TV Screen.

    1. I used Photoshop's brightness/contrast function (most graphics packages have one) to lighten the edges, and there are several things that stand out. You can see the edge of the TV Moniter on the left side, and nothing in a theater could account for this. Also, the right corners of the picture are rounded / blurred. This is characteristic of a convex TV moniter, while movie theaters have a flat screen, preventing this from happening.

    2. The picture is only partial theatrical letterbox, as in the TV spots. Full letterbox would be much smaller.

Reliable source or not, this picture is a fake.

look at the top u can either see the frame of the tv or the widescreen outline. see the line above it? unless chili has square screens in theaters. and why is there a big blob of light reflecting off of it? it looks like glass. and i havent seen a theater with glass screens

At 5:23:31 PM on 7/14/2001, McClane said:
If they were using a flash, they'd never see the rest of the film cause they'd be kicked out. If it's a screening then authorities are there to protect the film. If a picture is taken, film is taken and then person is escorted out.

    At 5:17:41 PM on 7/14/2001, Cheetah167 said:

Soeone offered to umm *whispers* video tape it for me, but that would be illegal and im very anal about this kind of thing. What should I do? I've been waiting for this movie since winter99/spring 2000! Ive been anticipating it by coming here to this page since Spring 2000! argh!

    The humanity!

I'm a Christian too so I'm unsure if this would be the right thing... I'm guesing not. Besides has anyone seen a video taped movie? i neverhave but im sure its *bad* quality...
