erm... ok... Carnotaurs is not really a plural of carnotaurus but it describes the whole group so you can say carnotaurs (like saying canines for dogs)

and in JPIII it's definitively NOT _Carnotaurus Sastreii_ the chart even says its a _Ceratosaurus_ (whatever kind if it's a definite one at all)

and the ceratosaurus and carnotaurus were about the same size

and I didn't really liked the TLW arcade game... the best one was house of the dead II (for now)

Yes, some scenes were inspired by scenes from BOTH of the books. But even in the first two movies, the filmmakers weren't 100% true to the books. After all, the Carnotaurs were in the second book, but not the movie. (By the way, "Carnotaurs" is an acceptable plural of "Carnotaurus")

Check out the official website and look at the comparative size chart there; most of the dinosaurs that have been in the series are there, and Ceratosaurus is there but not Carnotaurus.

What was it you said...? Something like, Remember those words, when we discuss the dinosaurs in the movie afterwards....
    ;-)

Cuckoo, i will not discuss about the dinosaur again, but i want to say you that some scenes and indoors are taken from the second book.

Dodgson, Carnotaurus had no nasal horn at all. It had large horns over the eyes. Ceratosaurus all the way in that shot. This movie isn't based on anything that Michael Crichton wrote.

I have an idea with JurassicTheory. Everyone ignore him! He will go away if no one addresses him. That is the kind of person he is. He is actually a fan (I had him pegged as a non-fan) and he is very excited about this movie, but he just wants to ruffle feathers, because he has nothing better to do. So everyone, just ignore him. He will leave, or behave, or show his true self. Thank you, and goodnight.

During the 2-minute preview, the "mystery" dinosaur is most definitely a Ceratosaurus nasicornis. If you want to see what a Carnotaurus looks like, look at the main "villians" in Disney's Dinosaur. To repeat; the dinosaur shown was a Ceratosaurus. I'm 100% certain of it.

At 11:17:54 PM on 7/14/2001, Dodgson said:
carnotaurus has a horn on tis nouse, and it's red.
Read the "the lost world" and see that scene when you go to the theatre, so you will agree that's a carnotaurus.

At 11:03:15 PM on 7/14/2001, ack said:
A carnotaur is a classification of dinosuar, a carnotaurus(sp?) is an actual dinosuar. Is there a carnotaurus in JP3, is anyone sure? They have to small spike things above thier eyes. I think they should do what they did in TLW book and be almost invisible, that would be awsome! So, is the Spino realy bigger than the Gigantosuarous(sp?) It was supposedly the largest meet eater.

    At 11:01:24 PM on 7/14/2001, To2icky said:
you guys suck... what is it then? eh? ceratosaurus? see i guess i dont want to spoil it to myself or something? someone explain what it is to me

At 10:56:14 PM on 7/14/2001, ack said:
Totaly, I agree, I mean, they went through the trouble of making a JP Quetzalquatolous (sp?) toy, so why not in the movie? It would have been a hole hell of a lot scaryer. And what is this about the pterodons not being real?

    At 10:53:13 PM on 7/14/2001, Tyrant-Lizard-King said:
No such thing as a carnotaur, carnotaurus but thats not in JP3!!!!

that is actually a pteranodon, or what ive read about in just about every dinosaur book i have. what makes them not pteranodons? maybe cause they dont eat fish in the movie? i think it would have been better to have quetzlecoatlus or however you spell that frickin birds name that had the wingspan of like a jet fighter or something?

Over the past few weeks i keep hearing and reading about this film taking place after jurassic park but before lost world.
This would make sense because in one of the trailers it says "NEW ISLAND" but they are going to Isla Sorna so if it was after TLW it wouldnt be a "NEW ISLAND". So either the trailers wrong or it is set before TLW

oh, and an 8 by 1 sheet won't do, so get a longer one, say 8.5 by 14 and switch the settings and print.

Oh wait, I just figured it out
go to file, print, then properties. In properties click on features. Under orientation, your image is set to portrait, click on landscape, then print it.
