Is it just me, or do the pteradons look alot like Big Bird, from "Seseme street" to other people too? If Jim Henson was alive, I think he'd like to hear about this!

Hmmmmm, that wouldn't be to bad, "JP4, the Muppets meet Spino"

imightbemark-in the JP novel, all dinos up to version 4.4 werere real dinos, the only engineering done to them was the patenting genes, the lysine deficientcy, and ton corrct fsaulty horomones or enzymes...wu had wanted them to go the ver 4.4 which was that they could engineer the dinos to bettter pleaze the crowd but hammand refused

Hmmm, the Brachiosaurs look spotted not really wrinkled but I like the little red flourish they put around the nostrils (lol, allergy season?). I think I 'm really going to like Johnston's take on Jurassic Park.....

I saw this commercial about 5 times yesterday. It looks pretty cool. Unfortunately, I'm always a late riser, so I missed the Today Show. Hard to believe that we only have 6 days to go.

it was very clear in the first book that ingen tampered with the dino dna to make them appear more like people thought they should look (if i remember correctly they did things like slowing down the big dinos to make them look more majestic etc...)

im hoping they ll make note of this in jp3 as a way of explaining all the different looking dinosaurs....

I just was watching Starz "Hollywood One on One" and there was a segment on JP3, Legally Blonde, and Scary Movie 2. They showed lots of new stuff, they showed a few more seconds of the Spino/Trex fight, more of the Spino/Plane incident, and you know when tea was using the microphone to call billy? Well Macy was like "Dr Grant says you shouldn't do that" and she keeps yelling on the thing and all of a sudden a big "ROAR." I'm kinda confused because the plane is fine after they land so what happens? Does the plane try to take off and then the spino clips it because Tea was yelling on the microphone? Because there was a Roar and I couldn't tell if it was a Spino or a T-Rex.

It will probably be on Starz like all week so I suggest checking your local listings, it was very good, they interviewed just about everyone including the kid.

If you look closely at the bank during the scene where the boat drifts past the brachs, you can get your first real glimpse of a couple of the CG ankylosaurs (as well as a stego herd in the background)

I think the Dinos look different because they are not being genetically engineered, but they are evolving and recreating life on their own. IE: look at the hair and the different features on the Raptors. The coloring is different as well as their markings.
Another example: You take a Hispanic Family (which I come from) originally from Mexico (or Spain), move them to The States, eventually, they are not going to look like Mexicans from Mexico, but they are going to look like Americans (Caucasians) with darker complexions. You evolve to your climate and surroundings.
They are no longer being created as Embryos in a lab, but actually laying eggs in their own territories. I think that was what the “new look” is meant to impose on our minds. When JP4 is released, I think the dinos will look even more ancient/not so preserved.

ANYWHO – This commercial is great and a big thanks to Yvonne for sharing. I think this commercial is one of the best so far….and #10 was great too.

Ok out of all three films and all three colours....the Brachiasaurus in JP is the most realistic and beatiful...I wonder if ILM or Joe even looked at what they looked like previously this colour scheme dosent hold well in a daylight shot form i can see....but i guess i have to see it on screen...but i doubt it...why would they make it soooooo incredable wrinkly (its not tha old) and even the heads look a differant shape! a little small i think!...compare them your self go look at jp and these trailers...

okay, i've been a fan of jp forever. i mean, i was around (as lwboy) when dan's tlw page was the best ever. and i know i'm gonna like jp3 no matter what, but i think some of the cgi effects are starting to look a little cheap, but no all of them. maybe it's the bad internet quality or bad tv quality (i've seen every commercial on tv). i hope i'm wrong . . .
