Utahraptor, I already knew that, but it can headbutt in JP movies, just look at TLW. It headbutts. They were talking about Pachycephalosaurus, but they said Parasaurolophus. Anyway, if there's a direct picture of the JP3 Ceratosaurus, okay. It's Ceratosaurus. Oh well, Ceratosaurus is cool, too.

SOrry to dissapoint you guys but the Ceratosaurus is pictured in the Jurassic Park 3 Dinosaur Size Compariosn Poster. I have it as well and the Ceratosaurus looks very cool. You can see a picture of it here: http://www.100megsfree3.com/jptoys/

Current reaches shows Pachy's couldn't have headbutted. it'd have kileld them.

I fail to comprehend the utter stupidity and ignorance of some of you people. So we made up a magazine called Empire did we.

    The cover is here...
    http://www.empireonline.co.uk/inprint/

If my scanner worked I would send you the pictures including the PICTURE of the Ceratosaurus which has a horn on its nose. Of course all you little experts would know that wouldn't you.

Call me any thing you like but don't EVER accuse me of being a liar.

At 3:20:36 PM on 7/1/2001, Mighty T-rex said:
Well, yeah. The "parasaurolophus" is spelled wrong, and has the wrong name. They were talking about Pachycephalosaurus, obviously, so I'll still bet they were talking about Carnotaurus. It simply is true that Carnotaurus is in the script, storybook, and loads of other places, and is opposed only by the size chart and idiot-written magazine that calls pahycephalosaurus parasaurolophus.
    Or maybe I'm in denial.

This whomps! Actually, maybe they accidentally called the Canrnotaurus, Ceratosaurus? Like when they called the parasaurolophus cardithonasaurus.

Heh heh. Hey, maybe all my ranting caused them 2 change Carnotaurus into Ceratosaurus! ALRIGHT! Kids, there's a valuable lesseon to B learned here. If things don't always go your way, just bitch and complain until the guys in charge have it go your way! GO CERATOSAURUS!!!

    (What Really happened...)
Joe Johnston: Uh oh. ILM guy, U better take a look at this!

ILM guy: What's poppin'? Hmm, Dan's JP3 Page? What's this?

Joe: Look, Evil Grinch just told this whole page that a made up magazine called Empire confirmed that Jurassic Park /// will have a Ceratosaurus instead of a Carnotaurus!

ILM guy: So? Who's Evil Grinch?

Joe: We cant let him B wrong! Erase all that footage of the Carnotaur scene, call back Neill, Macy, Leoni, and Morgan. We have to reshoot this whole scene and make it involve a Ceratosaurus instead of a Carnotaurus!

ILM guy: Your Joking right? The movie comes out in 17 days Joe!

Joe: Then what the hell R U standing around talking to me for? Come On! Hustle! We can't let Evil Grinch B wrong! Man, Y didn't we listen to that sgd goin down kid? He was right all along! Go call up the actors and book a trip to Hawaii! We have a scene to redo!

ILM guy: But--Wha--Hey! Where the hell R U going!?

Joe: I have to go write and publish a fictitious magazine called Empire and prove that Evil Grinch was right! See ya July 18th!

Hehe, I love how non-existant dinosaurs are flooding this message, such as the "carnotaur" and "ceratsaur."

    It's Carnotaurus and Ceratosaurus.

"Carnotaur" is a a complete butchering of the word. You can't even translate that "word" into English.

THERE IS NO CARNOTAURUS. THERE IS, IN FACT, A CERATSAURUS. IT'S IN MY MAG

MartinRandle,Apparently the magazine didn'tknow shit because not only did they spell Parasaurolophus wrong, but Parasaurolophus didn't headbutt,Pachycephalosaurus, Stegoceras,or Stygimoloch are the prime suspects for that, not Parasaurolophus.

Well, iut's not like a mag gave us fals einfo before. And yes, Evil Grinch made Universal change everything. hence why he's called Evil. Sheesh! If they changed this, who knows what else changed from the time the book was written to now. Maybe the surprise charatcers get changed too, or even mroe added.

if disney will make a big deal about, they'll go so far as complain that ankylosaurus was a disney dinosaur. Of course jp can complain that velociraptor is a jp dinosaur, among others. This is bs. This is exactly why i thought it would be a bad idea to release the books before the movie. Who's idea was that? SHEESH!

    WARNING SPOILERS>>>>

Evilgrinch is correct (as he has always been... hi grichy Zap madrigal here!) I have the mag in front of me..

Page86 - 87 there is a sort of time line called "who's the daddy?"

(If my scanner worked I would send an image but the damn thing not working)

Ok here are the images (each a photo from the movie in order of left to right with captions...

    Page 86
Alan Grant; height 6' Special move: looking in awe.

Brachiosaurus; height 51' Special move: Grazing, sneezing.

Male raptor; Height 5'6" Special move: death by mauling.

Female Raptor: Height 5'6" Special move: doing the dishes.

Spinosaurus; height 16' (top of head) Special move: Catching Aircraft Killing.

Ankylosaurus; Height 9' Special move: Armadillo impressions.

T-Rex; height 14'5" Special move: Stopmping Roaring.

Compsognathus; height 2' Special move: pecking.

    page 87
    Alan Grant (again) height 6'
    Special move: being a know-all.

Parasaurolaphus <i>(their spelling not mine)</I> Height 13' Special move: Stampeding, headbutting.

Stegosaurus; height 19' (top of plates)Specail move: meanderin' about a bit.

Alan Grant (again!!) height 6'; Special move: running in terror.

Pteranodon baby; Wing span 9' Special move; squawking.

Triceratops: height 15' (top of crest) Special move: having the horn.

Pteranodon Adult; wing span 32' Special move: divebombing, cheap flights.

    Ceratosaurus; height 12'
    Special moves; comedy acting.

That is word for word from the magazine. Each caption is pictured with a relative sized photo (graphic) of each dinosaur / Alan Grant. So it is Definitely a Ceratosaurus that does the comedy moment NOT a Carnotaurtus as was originally rumoured.

I guess it is better to have a Ceratsaurus, than a Carnotaurus. Now Universal doesnt have to worry about Disney complaining about stealing a dinosaur. Even though Disney doesnt own the Carnotaurus. How can you own a dinosaur? Anways I hope the Ceratsaurus looks cool.
