When JP first came out, much of the media attention focused on whether the film was too scary for kids. (From: Jedi)

Hopefully now we'll have a better plot comming. I think the Site C thing is a fake or mispelling.

Funny, I thought the currently announced plot is the worst idea in the long, sad history of bad ideas.
    Site C indeed.

Taking Sam Neill off this movie is the worst idea in the long, sad history of bad ideas... Sorry, had to say it.

In the biography on Sa Neill it said that he is not just a actor but has done some screen writing too ( hint, hint)If you want to see this info just go to the Sam neill link

I think that he isn't asking alot, because this will be his first big movie since Jurassic Park, and I doubt that he is asking for a script change. But if they really want him, they MAY change the script

I think Utahraptor is right. Maybe he didn't agree with the script, but what if he did, but some other big name they desperatly want in the movie disagreed, so they're writing over for him. Now maybe thats why he is still only in talks and it's taking so long. But Utahraptor is probably right.

I think Utahraptor is onto something, Neill probably wants the role, but was dissatisfied w/the script. Universal sorely needs him in this movie so they're probably kissing his *** and giving him whatever he wants; hopefully he wants a more pivotal role than the cameo Universal probably offered him

Sam is a great actor, but he just does not gets the acclaim he should get.

Woo Hoo. The Sam Neill psrt is the first bit of good news mentioned since they first confirmed a JP3 was to be made. Maybe Sam objected to the script and they're rewriting it to get him to return.

    Sam Niell let me think...

I think they have stepped in the right direction, Sam Niell is just great and I am now very very happy, woo-hoo!

Wait does summer mean THIS summer? They're gonna start filming THIS summer? They have this thing on a helluva timetable.

What? Script troubles? Not exactly new news, check out the comments on the message boards. But now its confirmed, this is especially bad. Universal is gearing toward another two hour commercial. They've got the merchandise ready to roll, but they haven't even hacked out a script. This goes to show JP3 is going to be one lousy movie. Then again, Casblanca was literally written on a day to day basis. But the quality of script writers was much higher then.

Sam Neill can't afford to say no. They'll just throw money at him 'till he caves. Which is fine by me, he rules!

What!? The script isn't finished? They'd better get on the ball. But even if it's postponed, Sam Neill's appearance can only help the situation. Thank-god. And how about Dr. Sattler?

Remember he is only on talks though. And there are no completed scripts. There is still a chancce that this project could be pushed back even further or just thrown out the window (which is very unlikely).
