Nope, your very wrong on that. Sam Neil did an Interview In Us Magazine while he was promoting the Film Event Horizons. The interviewer Asked him on why wasn't he involved in the Lost World, And His response was That His Character was not In the Book( The Lost World) So He was not asked to return. The Reason Sam Is saying differently now is because he is trying to bash The last film in order to promoted This One. My opinion is that he is going to end up with egg on his face. This Movie will not make the money the Lost World Made, and he will regret the comments he had made.

Not true at all. The VERY first draft of TLW called for Neill to return, but when Neill labeled the script as being "just another action movie," a re-write was called in. By that time, Crichton had written TLW, so Koepp and crew just went from there

He's Lyin. Grant was not In the original Draft of the Lost World. How Do I know? I read it. Malcome Was the lead from the start. Neal is just trying to bash thelast film in order to promote the Next.

JP/// will be limited JUly 18. Everybody and their clone gets in July 20.
Obviosuly a very early draft called for Grant, but when Neil refused (and they didn't rewrite it well enough to please him ala JP///), they rewrote it. Probably had Grant and Malcolm going together. Or maybe at the end, they planned to have Grant at the InGen meeting tos ee the T-rex.

In many articles over the past few years, Sam Neill has listed Laura Dern as one of his best friends. I wish they would be in something else together. And that's why I'm really disappointed that JP3 didn't pursue the Alan/Ellie relationship; the actors themselves have a chemistry going that shows.

Sam should have been in the second movie.

I guess the T-rex dies afterall. suckage.

Sounds like Neil's "interest" in Dern goes beyond just the Alan & Ellie characters :)
