One could only hope that this movie is more violent. When you have the most dangerous carnivores that ever existed on one island and there's no violence taking place....mmmm there's a big problem there.

It depends... that death was in darkness, in JP/// we have several deaths that take place in broad daylight... like that shot in one of the ads of Cooper about to get it from the Spino :D

The bbfc ratings are more relaxed now and I can see this getting a 'PG', with the lost world they shew it to a bunch of kids before rating who were unaffected by the violence like the T-Rexes ripping apart the guy in TLW. So they may be more lax on this

razzie - in my local UCI in England last night, JPIII is listed for release on 13th July. Im not sure if they got that right or that it is a preview. It certainly is early though.
    Just thought i'd share.

hehein canada there are three major theatre companies... Famous Players, Guzzo and Cineplex Odeon... ok so the two first don't give a f*ck about the ratings... the last one is near bankruptcy! haha

I use to live in France, and JP and TLW weren't -12 (no kids under 12) but South Park didn't get -18 they get -12 so they go a lot easier with u...

Dan's missed a classification - 'Uc' which means 'Suitable for all, especially children' :)

There was controversy over giving JP1 a 'PG' na dit made the TV news. Many classifiers said it should have been a '12'. I have a half-page newspaper clipping from one woman who was horrified by TLW's gore. I hope JP3 gets a 'PG' or else my older little cousins won't be able to join me on July 18th (I hope that's the English release date). They were too young for TLW and a few weren't invented for JP1.

Geeze, I hope JP/// will be a bit more violent than TLW, I almost fell asleep through that. Well, on the other hand I have a six year old brother who's counting on a low rating.
    Wow, violence or brother...
    Violence. he he he

lol, on topic however, the BBFC hasn't rated JP3 yet, so this info probably came from the Internet Movie Database, where it is listed as a '12' cert. However, IMDB also said the BBFC gave Evolution a '12', when in reality it has been given a 'PG'...
