Eddie Carr was originally supposed to be the "hero" in TLW, which explains why the Eddie action figure comes with the so-called "hero hat". (From: 'Salvester2')

Hey Raptor Red 2000 , The spino wasnt bigger than t-rex but it was about 10 feet longer and could have been meaner. Just because its not as big dosnt mean it is not as fierce(look at the raptors)
    Trex= 40 ft 9 ton
    Sino= 50 ft 7-8 ton

The problem with too many dinos was explained in the TLWbook,I just dont remember.
Most of us know That T-rex in reality is stronger and smarter,Horner doesent like T-rex he has proven this time after time.He wants people to think that Rex was a scavenger that couldent run.
JP/// has given him freee hands, shame on you!!!!

Yeah but still, with Raptors, Compies, 2 T-Rexes (at least), and now a Carnotaur and Spinosaur, each would have territory exceeding that of say a lion. Therefore, an island the siaze of site B would not be able to support a T-Rex, let alone all of the other predators.

At 3:25:54 PM on 6/17/2001, Mighty T-rex said:
jp_tlw: No, Spinosaurus wasn't bigger than T-rex. Spinosaurus weighed less than five tons, while T-rex is estimated as having weighed around 6 tons. Length doesn't matter, the only reason Spinosaurus was longer was because it had a long skinny tail and snout.
T-rex was bigger if you really get down to it, and was much stronger. Spinosaurus was a fish-eater, not a top predator, TyrannoRaptor.

Hads anyone else noticed how bloody unrealistic this film is. We have at least 4 top carnivores on a small island, with loads of herbivores that presumable eat trees and stuff. Not only would there be very little vegitation on the island but there should be no herbivores left on the island after about a week. Not even dinosaurs can breed that fast to replenish the population. How dumb.

    At 5:36:32 AM on 6/17/2001, jp_tlw said:
I agree with Raptor Red 2000, the rex will(hopefully) cronicly smash the spino. But spinos were defently bigger than rexs, but if there were preditors bigger than a rex surly the rex would have to be more vicious

At 1:26:12 AM on 6/17/2001, Faulkner said:
raptor red, the spino was certainly a lot leaner than the t-rex but it was longer than the t-rex with its around 50 foot length....where'd you get that t-rex measureement? sue was only like 40 feet andthe new oner they finded was around 44 feeet and heavier, i think...and the giga and cachar were around the mid 40's length too, but werer heavier. and about the meaner part, ya can't really measre that....but it looks like the spino is...cu hes obviously putting more effort in being the top predator on that island...

Every body here needs to read the book! Stego's and Trikes are there and compys aren't! I like the compys, but everyone needs to keep their facts strait.

At 10:18:10 PM on 6/16/2001, Raptor Red 2000 said:
The Apatosaurus might be mixed up with Saltosaurus, another sauropod. Also, what the heck about the raptors, the trailers are saying that they have evolved. I guess they mean they evolved more than what they were when they died out. And, the Spinosaurus isn't bigger or meaner than a T-Rex! Spinosaurus was about 40 feet long, and only weighed abut six tons. However the largest T-Rex was 49 1/2 feet long, and weighed roughly 9 tons!

Ceratosaurus and the 'Taur are always mixed up. Checked the picture again, if it's got a long snout with a horn on its nose its a Cerato.

The Para, Compys and Pachys were in the Lost World- they're not new! Must be a gross error.

Hey guys guess what!i was arguing with people in some ingennet forums and i saw this messed up size chart(in an auction on ebay) where the stegosaurus and trike were as big as the Spino! The T-rex was tiny!and most mysterious,in the back there was a wierd dino.we thought it was a Carnotaurus.thhen someone asked who had it what it was,and he said it was a Ceratosaurus!!!!hmmmmmmmmm...............now what was that doin there?

i know this has nothing to do with the list but, in the book, the only reason why they made compys, was so the would eat dinosaur shit because the dinosaurs had something in their shit that made it not decompose, so the compys would eat it.

    Gross isn't it?

Why are the compy back? The killed one person in TLW they cant do crap, put in the trikes

I'd be more afraid of a pachy than an appatosuar, but thats just my opinion.
Oh, and, what about the raptors?

There are no trikes and Stegos in the valley of dinosaurs. Brachiosaurus, Ankylosaurus, and Corythosaurus make an appearance there.

it also says that at 40 feet long the spinosaurus is larger than the t-rex. A 55 foot long spino weighed less than a 40 foot t-rex so how in any way is a 40 foot spino larger than a t-rex

Theres someting wrong. Okey it says that there are ten dinos, so that would be:
    1. Spino
    2.Anky
    3. Apatosaurus
    4. Compy
    5. Pachy
    6. Para
    7. Rex
    8. Raptor
    9. Brach
    10. Pteranodon

So what about the Trikes and Stegos that are in the river vally scene. or do they just not consider them to be important?
