People don't want to see more jurassic park movies they want more dinosaurs. But considering the jurrasic park serries is the only one to bring top of the line, non talking (disney's dinosaur), beliveable dinosaurs. Why not do some new dinosaur based movies. For example: Dinotopia (mabey), Comicbook titles like Ricardo Delgado's Age Of Reptiles or Steve Bissette's Tyrant. But I do think JP3 looks good. In my opinion so far I think it will out do the second. The lost world gave you a sense that none of it could happen, The gymnastics sceene, the rex of the island, all the sarcasm wich was used tastefully in the first movie but wasn't used well in TLW. One last thing, I think that in TLW when the Rex went to the main land it became a monster film and destroyed the credibility of JP. I hope JP3 will reastablish that credibility.

I predict about a 55 to 65 million opening. TLW did so well cause of the anticipation - it was the first sequel, and that's a big deal to (what was at the time) the highest grossing film in world-wide box-office history. But at #3 I think the films gross will depend soley on its quality.

I think JP3's plot is gonna be great. The biggest problem with TLW aside from that movie's total inability to create suspense was the plot. There were at least 3 different movies going on at the same time and they didn't seem to have a lot to do with eachother. JP1 had a really solid, coherent plot and JP3 looks like it will too. Spiely's "Grant in a tree" idea for 3 was just silly, but who knows what his concept for 4 will be like.
