If TLW San Diego was such a monster movie, why was barely anythign destroyed? japan would kill to get a rampage liek SD had. It's also expected. You really think they could have pulled off a JP 6 and never move dinos into the city? Yeah right.
Actually, without that ending, there'd never be a JP///.

People don't want to see more jurassic park movies they want more dinosaurs. But considering the jurrasic park serries is the only one to bring top of the line, non talking (disney's dinosaur), beliveable dinosaurs. Why not do some new dinosaur based movies. For example: Dinotopia (mabey), Comicbook titles like Ricardo Delgado's Age Of Reptiles or Steve Bissette's Tyrant. But I do think JP3 looks good. In my opinion so far I think it will out do the second. The lost world gave you a sense that none of it could happen, The gymnastics sceene, the rex of the island, all the sarcasm wich was used tastefully in the first movie but wasn't used well in TLW. One last thing, I think that in TLW when the Rex went to the main land it became a monster film and destroyed the credibility of JP. I hope JP3 will reastablish that credibility.

welll utahraptor, after TLW movie, i see no sense in them covering it up...cuz i mean the bull t-rex did rampage through san diego and it did get wide coverage and that means in the movie JP universe, everybody knows that dinos exist and are alive and well...i mean that'd be everywhere...and all the dinos are sitting on their island and the costa rican gov't and american gov't are protecting them and no one can see em....but then in JP///...

Oh, and to e-mail Universal, go to http://www.universalstudios.com and click Contact Us on the upper right. Agree to their terms, select the subject you want, then suggetss tuff to them, like pay Joe Johnston to direct JP4. Bring back Ariana Richards for JP4. We all like BioSyn in JP you know. etc.

And no oen would go digging through the mud to find it, let alone figure out the secret of the canister. Hmmm, a shavign cream canister. I'll throw it out. I bet they never found it when tearing down JP. I cna guarantee you, JP4 won't be a prequel. A prequel would ahve abrely any dino action, so of course Johsnton wouldn't mind it. And if you think InGen could cover it up, thanks for exposing that agping continutiy/plot/believability hole in JP, big enough to fit a Brachio through. Noway InGen can cover up a JP disaster, then let one worker slip by. The investors punce don them faster than Raptors on Tea in a tree. And don't forget, they couldn't cover up the JP Incident. Malcolm blabbe dit. Surely if soemone else blabbe dfirst,t hen Malcolm, people would begin to think it's plausable. No one believed crazy old Malcolm, did they?
Whoever directs JP4 better love tons of returnees and BioSyn. Or skip that Loser pronto.

I predict about a 55 to 65 million opening. TLW did so well cause of the anticipation - it was the first sequel, and that's a big deal to (what was at the time) the highest grossing film in world-wide box-office history. But at #3 I think the films gross will depend soley on its quality.

rival raptor groups! Thats a great idea.

My idea for a perfect JP4 is dinosaurs in Australia. The movie would have lots of guns and explosions. It would be directed by James Cameron, and star Arnold Scawzennegger.

I still think they should make a kind of "prequel" of Jurassic Park that involves a group of the employees from the first film.It never shows any of them after all hell breaks loose.I think such a cool story could be told. That would also save us from the inevitable corniness a 4th movie would bring us.Either mutant dinosaurs or a dinosaur world take-over.That would ruin the franchise. This could also bring new dinosaurs to the scene easily.I also like the idea of rival Raptor nests.Oh yeah and maybe a Rex could eat a Spino.....

Hmmm, so if there is a JP4, it most likely won't be on the Costa Rican islands.

No one has brought up the point of book to movie likeness, JP was fairly similar to it's book, TLW was not similar to it's book at all, but it had 90% of it's material from the JP book. So will JP/// be 90% TLW book? Hmmmm..... I don't realy care, but if JP4 comes out, it can't be 90% JP/// book, because JP/// doesn't have a book!

37 mil? I doubt it will be as high as TLW, since some people don't want to see JP movies after that, but 37 seems pretty low. Just overhearing others' reactions in the theater when they show the trailer, I'd say there's more interest than that.

At 1:23:36 PM on 6/16/2001, Trillian said:
I think JP3's plot is gonna be great. The biggest problem with TLW aside from that movie's total inability to create suspense was the plot. There were at least 3 different movies going on at the same time and they didn't seem to have a lot to do with eachother. JP1 had a really solid, coherent plot and JP3 looks like it will too. Spiely's "Grant in a tree" idea for 3 was just silly, but who knows what his concept for 4 will be like.

I would'nt get all jumpy about Jurassic Park 4 just yet. If Jurassic Park III suks, it will fail at the box office. Speaking of box office, I'm wondering what JP3's debut will be like. TLW was $92 million. JP was $50. I'm guessing JP3 will be something like, oh, $37 million?
