Actually, the pictures aren't from JP Database, they're from inGenNET. There are dozens of pictures in the article, but I only scanned the new ones, so if you aren't able to find the mag, you won't miss a thing.

Aggghhhh!!! I'm Slayerett! (Actually my sister is. It's her ScreeName) I just 4got 2 write "sPitter" @ the bottom. Oh wait, I'm sgd goin down now. *Sigh* The price of revenge. Actually, the toy just sez Alpha Velociraptor. I guess alot of people were caught up in the idea of a dominant female for some reason. I got both those toys. I call the male "Primus" and the female, "Bloodshot". Ya know, the eyes? Anyway, go on, and buy the issue, but it costs like, $8 where I live.

<font color=grey>In the JP3 movie storybook, the raptors in some pictures dont have quills. Now it all makes sense.

-The dinos of JP were all female...and were like a greyish-green color...
    - The male raptors of TLW were orangey with sorta tiger stripey things on their back. The females in TLW were the same appearance as the ones in JP...
-The males in JP3 have feathers and are like bluish-grey, as the females are gray with like purple spots n stuff...

    WHATS GOIN ON????

This happens to be a convenient way to explain why the raptors in the first movie had no quills. ;)

One thing I definitely like is that they've extended the snouts to make them more like ACTUAL Velociraptors rather than the Deinoraptors we've seen before. Who knows, maybe the fourth movie, if it gets made, will have the Velociraptors three feet tall. =)

if you look at the male and female velociraptors from jp3, you'll notice that there are a lot more pretty big differences than simply the "quills." Anyhow, i was being sarcastic and no, i'm not insulted. If anything, I'm happy for the female velociraptors, afterall, they have nicer looking males ;-) I was just hoping to see a plaid male brachiosaur is all...

you sound insulted by it...i don't see why...iff you are....it happens all the time in nature, including the living dinos, the birds and their reallly distant cousins, todays reptiles...albeit more flashy compared to most mammals cuz birds and reptiles have color vision. like take ostriches, the males are all black and white but the females are drab and brown....or mallards, the males are all color ful with their green heads and the like but the females are again drabber....same with peacocks....or like with iguanas on the reptile part...the males have bigger spikes and are more colorful...then again, i am assuming by the stronger term "blatant", you are somewhat insulted by this or something....however i very welll may be wrong....and if i am....so be it...

i wonder if there will other dinos with blatant sexual dimorphism.
