If I threw up in a pen, and gave it to a monkey, a far superior idea than Speilberg's would have resulted.
I greatly fear his mind's going. Should he even be allowed to come up with an idea for JP4?

I have to say that Spielberg's suggested plot for Jp3 is the most stupid idea in the history of moving images.

If they had gone fourth with the idea, it would have been a pathetically awful film.

Sam Neill acting like the Swiss fucking Family Robinson.

THANK GOD THEY DIDN'T USE THAT IDEA.

Oh my God! Spielberg's a complete and utter moron. I understand Grant sneaking onto the island and living there, say a few days, but in a tree? Oh my God! Spielberg's a complete and utter moron. He nearly ruined both JP/// and the franchise. I know shudder to think of what his JP4 idea is.
Now, what is Horner's effetc on people? He has lusy carnivore theories, yet he keeps getting digging recruits. First Ariana Richards, now Joe Johnston. Will the aniamtornics becoem AI controlled and go digging for their real life fossilized counterparts after JP5?
And there are no dinos on Nublar. Watch TLW again and pay attention, and listen.
Why do I get the feeling eric's found living in a tree?
The original Land Of The Lost rocked. The second one sucked. Better Sleezstacks, though. 3 moons my eye.

here's one (inspired by something a member said once)

dinosaurs on Sorna and Nublar are well known... so now people have decided to preserve them and all...

only a group of intelligent raptors found a way to get to the mainland. They attack a costa-rican village and pillage it. they make it their nesting area. now the main story would be people evading the raptor hunters that are set to kill them...

At 9:26:33 PM on 6/11/2001, Faulkner said:
wait you people have given a great idea.....have McGuyver(Richard Dean Anderson) on Isla Sorna. Now that'd be cool to see him fending off dinos with just junk he makes, like he'd fending off raptors with a bazooka he made from a PVC pipe, two paper clips, a fanbelt and sack of potatoes.....or other junk he could find....like a bomb made outta dino shit and a milk carton.....i dunno.....it'd be cool.....cuz McGuyver was pretty cool...and dinos are cool...and he would fight Dodgeson and his dino hunters(not like in TLW, but like the ones from the first JP toys....oppisite them werer the goodguy Dino Trackers)

well, we know that the facilities on Isla Nublar have been destroyed, but they never showed us how -> JP4.

Well, if you read the post of the JP3 ending, you would be impressed. That dialogue in the ending is incredible!

    I'm fairly optimistic.

Thats strange, i usually like spielberg's ideas for flicks, but his idea for Jp3 just didnt seem to make sense. I hope Johnston does a good job on this one.

Don't know about you, but Speilburg taking the piss isn't he. 80 per cent of the people who watch JP films is watching people turn into Trex chudder.

P.S. Johnston looks like Richard Dean Anderson (Stargate).

That'd be funny to see humans vs. dinos...but I can't imagine too much of a plot with men running around with AK-47's, M16's and shotguns. It'd be cool, but I can't see a plot...or maybe if they went back to Nublar (still pissed that they haven't shown it all messed up since JP) and InGen or Dodgson was trying to get embryos or DNA somehow or something and they encounter Dino's nesting in the visitor's center and blow em away, and going around in the Jeep's and throwing grenades at compy's....I need to stop! Ahhhhh, sounds like "Saving Private Ryan" meets "JP." Maybe Spielberg would be interested....just kidding.

That sounds waaaaay to much like Disney's Dinosaur film.

they should introduce new characters...like entirely new...no old ones at all...it could be refreshing cuz then nobody would have the experience at all about these things and they'd be freaked as hell.....or even as dinos as the characters....like give em names and have em personalities...maybe like the leaders of a velociraptor pack ands a deinonychus pack get into a fight over territory and then stumble upon the territory of a seriously pissed off trikes and therers a stampede scene, cept more dangerous for both the sickle-claws and humans...or we could always see a trike vs t-rex...by s volcano that happens to be there for some reason...that'd be cool

I am sooo happy they didnt use Spielberg's plot...that sounds soo stupid....Grant would never go back! God...well i hope they do a JP4..and make Ellie Satler the main character..or maybe bring back all the originals..the main thing i want is for these people to fight the dinos..you never see that! I mean i want M16's and bullets flying and watching these dinos getting blown to bits.

I want Pteranodons! Alot of Pteranodons! Gimmie Pteranodons! Sorry, bu tIm really looking forward to the Pteranodons, I was so pissed when they were cut from TLW.

Spielbergs idear sounded to much as "Land of the Lost", that was a childrens program about a father and two children who get stucked in a world full of dinosaurs. And yes, they lived in a tree.
The new plot is much better.

spielbergs was ok...but it seems that pretty much all the people wwho were in the first one had some sorta of trauma and fear of going back to any dino infested island...i mean ian was most likely scared as hell to go back to "save" sara...but it werked with his twisted sense of humor well, and i think he was awesome in TLW...and grant, well i mean ian only heard the raptor ripping into the cow and although he had a pretty close encounter with the rex, he spent most of his time laying down after that. but grant was running from the rex and in the jungle and then he had to face the raptors as well as the kids, who seemed to be pretty freaked in TLW...so i don't think the whole living eith the dinos would werk wit him, i mean you'd neeed sombody like levine in TLW novel(i thought that the guy who played ludlow in the TLW movie would've been great to play levine). and sides, i dunno bout some sorta treehouse. it was done in the land of the lost and that syndicated lost world show(the one that is based on sir arthur conan doyles lost world...it's on at like 3 in the morning on a saturday night here).....i meanif it wasn't a tacky treehouse.....perhaps made outt the remains of an ingen service vehicle or whatnot...nut thers the whole trauma thing...and sides....as ian so elequently put it on the subject of the high hide...it puts you at a convienient biting range....not to mention therer are plenty of dinos on that island suitable to climb trees...raptors for one...and the reallky pissed of pteranodons may be a problem to...

The new plot is far too lost world-esque, and people disliked that movie.
