i still say troodons are better, that'd be cool to see them lure the raptors into a trap...or maybe they'd play a trick on the raptors by having a stampede of triceratops through the raptors little grassy home...he he he...just tick off the triceratops and then run...he he he...or they could just chuck stuff at the raptors to piss em off...that'd be funny.....then laugh in little troodon laughs.....he he he

hooray! more dinosaurs!if only the had alot more new ones...like instead of the wacked out raptors, replace em with more vicous troodons, who, in real life were bigger, faster, and smarter than most dromaesaurs...in fact troodons wrer the actually the cheetahs of the dino world...raptors wrer more of the leopards...and they should have the t-rex more gracile...just cuz it's big don' mean it weren't fast, it was the fastest animal of its size....noyt to mention the simularities between ornithomimid leg bones and tyrannosaurid ones....

Ok, here is what the reply said,

"They shot so much high speed camera on this movie that the running joke on
the set became. 24 frames per second IS sol mo. Normal sync-sound cinema
speed is 24 fps. Much of the work is shot high speed like 96 fps etc. and
than slowed back down to normal later in the editorial process when the
    effects are composited.

As for the details of the movie... There are lots of Dinosaurs and...
well... That's about all I can say!

    Ryan",

    we have our ? answered,

Here is an idea, when you are good at something you say you can "do it with my eyes closed", a race car driver could say "100MPH is slow", maybe this is just the company saying the same thing, in film terms, "24FPS is slow-motion", that makes the most sense to me,

At 9:53:09 AM on 5/29/2001, SuperJonk said:
Hehehe... eggy is right. 24 fps is film speed (movies, traditionaly), while a lot of TV shows run at 30 (video). I took a video and aduio production course at a greatly funded vocational school (I'm special, whoo-hoo! hahahaha jk)
I'm guessing that since this is a CREW shirt... this is obviously an inside-joke. Maybe someone asked if FPS was slow-mo, and got laughed at; or the people were used to working with a faster frame rate and thought 24 was slow. But thumbs up to eggy and Drakkenfyre on this one.

    Heh heh heh.

That's quite a clever little joke they've slyed onto that shirt.

Maybe the Spino/Rex fight is in slo-mo?

    yeah i thought so...thanks n_n

At 12:00:19 AM on 5/29/2001, eggy said:
Actually Faulkner is completely wrong. VIDEO is 30 fps, TV plays whatever the program was filmed at, and if you want slow motion, you UP the frame rate. A lot of slow motion uses 120-450 fps depending on what's being filmed. Therefore when the 120 fps footage is played back at 24 fps (standard film speed) the footage goes slower.

I wasn't making any attacks on anyone, just setting things straight.

Movies are run at 24FPS, tv broadcasts at 30FPS, I think it is just a company slogan,

no i think the standard frames per second you see normally on movies and TV is 30fps, so 24 fps would be slow motion, but who knows....i may be mistaken or it may some techie inside joke

could of thought of a better slogan but....

Anyone have an idea what that slogan means? I'm kinda stumped myself.. the only reason they'd increase the fps in a film is to do a slow motion effect (unless I'm missing something).
