Despite all the other effects Michael Lantieri had to perform for JP, he considers the "rippling water glass" effect the hardest to figure out. Apparently he asked every sound person he knew before stumbling on the solution. (From: Staindallover2K2)

its not a total jurrasic park game, if you check out ign its explained as a "Universal Studio's" game, which means you get to play little mini games based on their movies, JP being one of those, theres a video clip of the same game with woody wood-pecker flying in the car from back to the future.

you know... I didn't look at the pics last time... now that I did... this could be a really good game... (I know it's a Kidz game... but mario 64 was good)

maybe it's this : What would have happen if JP had opened... like you come to a Jurassic Park where there are all sorts of animations (The Ride, and such) with live dinos...

Ha Ha Ha Ha. Who would get "Kiddie JP"?

At 3:40:43 AM on 5/19/2001, Snoop said:
Yup, it definately isn't a full JP game, Konami has the rights for JP games, and Konami hasn't announced all of it's GameCube titles yet.

I bet Sorna has a JP gate by the village, or dino section, and everybody keeps coming in the back way.
As for Nublar in JP///, fuhgedabotit. Why would the Kirby's chgater a plane to fly over an empty island before going to save their beloved son, when time is obviously of upmost the essence? They wouldn't. It'd be the most direct flight there.
And heading home, if even shown, would be directly to the military base, which would skip Nublar entirely. If you honestly thin they'll be showing Nublar (short of a flashback(, don;t go see JP///. You'll be too disappointed. And before you post here asking why all the Nublar hints for a Nublarless movie, there weren't any. Well, one, but it was a mistake.
You forget, most people can't grok the notion od 2 islands.
And the graphics in the game are too kiddie.

    Yep,this isn't from a Jurassic park game.
It's just a section from the game "Universal studios" where you get to travel around the studio in question and do stuff.

I say to a lesser extent because it isn't exactly in the same category as X-Isle and TE, but it looks like a kick-arse game.

Those are definately early screenshots, probably not even in alpha yet.

Even if it is kiddie, we have X-Isle, Turok Evolution, and to a lesser extent, Star Fox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet to look forward to... And the GBA games are lookin very sweet.

I can tell you just from the first pic, these are EARRRRRRRRRRRRLY screenshots, believe me, they are, it probably will not even be released until Fall, or even next year, so that should tell you what state it is in right now,

Kemco ain't exactly a world-class developer. The other GameCube games on cube.ign.com look extremely kickass, and unbelievably lucious... these, however, look either very early or very crap.

I told ya...They keep saying Sorna, but the pics imply Nublar.Hell, the pic that put
up was great.ALL the others where crap!

Ok, WTF?, the name of the game right now is Universal Studios, have any of you looked at the rest of the pics?, the game obviously takes place on Isla Nublar, but in one shot we see Jurassic Park: The Ride, then in another it looks like the Jurassic Park section of Universal Studios, what the hell?, does anyone else find this ODD?, and JurassicRaptor, this is probably an early, VERY early version, give it a few months,

Ack, those look crappy! Awful texture mapping on the terrain. Yuck! I'll save my money for Survivor thank you.

Well, shit, seeing the Jurassic Park gate in a game made my heart jump, then it turns out to be a kiddy game?, damn, and I know about the Isla Nublar thing, the trailer sure enuf was on Sorna, but maybe there is something they are not telling us, then again, this is another kiddy game, so maybe they are going the same route and be on Nublar like the pc titles,

It isn't. I don't know how anyone at this point could think that JP3 goes back to Nublar. I mean, did no one see the freaking trailer?!
