The 'unlucky bastard' eaten by the Rex in the San Diego sequence is none other than TLW's screenwriter, David Koepp.

Great so far. Yet odd no dinos yet. Spielberg said everybody compalined they took too long tos ee the dinos, and then he gave them dinos immeidately,m and theys til compalined. Now, long pages of no dinos.
The character cna't be Hammond. We'd expect him. Sattler calls him up and tells him the latets news,a nd he goe to smooth things over and keep thigns from blowing up. WHoeevr it is, we'd be seeign liek the last person to be there. Hence Bob always syaing unexpected. After 2 movie,s we'd expect hammond, especially being mentioned by Grant at the lecture, to remind us.
Bob, is the charatcer in thsoe phots? or conveinently left out?
Mark could eb the charatcer. You'd never expetc him to give up Sattler and the kdis to risk his lfie saving Grant and company.
Nice foreshadow of Grant's life line clal to Sattler. She says ask me for help. So he finally does.

This script rocks!!!!!!! I can hardly wait for JP3 to come out. Why couldn't they release this movie during Memeorial Day weekend like the other two. I may not last until July 18.

I was just wondering, when does jp3 take place. I've always thought it was between JP and The Lost World, but it looks like it takes place after it now.

Just wanted to comment that The parrot is obvious foreshadowing to the "talking" raptors, but you all already know that right?

Bishop-I can assure you the scene was filmed. Just go to my site and look at the photos of it being filmed. And you're right, no one can guarantee what will be cut and what won't.

Well, the lecture was fine, but the conversation between Ellie and Grant doesn't work at all. Dialogue could really use some work. It's interesting to see the effects Jurassic Park has on paleontology.

By the way, Jack the parrot is a raptor in disguise. He's one of those feathered raptors that, according to Grant, can talk. Poor Ellie never saw it coming.

Do you think the secret character who returns in the end my be Mark?

At 1:50:45 PM on 5/13/2001, Bishop said:
Just because a secret character returns in the script that Bob has, doesn't mean that the scene was actually kept in, let alone filmed. We would all do well to remember that.

On top of that, I just don't know about Hammond. I wouldn't be shocked if the poor boy was dead, considering his bedridden condition in TLW.

JPobsession just nailed the secret character! That is a plausable theory! But that is kinda sappy, seeing as how Attenborough had nothing to do with JP3, or did he?

That dialogue is incredible! That final writer knows what he is doing! Dan, please get Bob to keep those coming.

Could Ellie be falling for Grant? Hmmmmmm... And leave Dan alone, he works hard to keep us updated and all this other crap for free, so the least you can do is shut your mouth and appreciate it.
