Before becoming a director, JP3 director Joe Johnston had a long career as art director on several films, including the Star Wars trilogy, where he helped give designs a 'worn-out look'.

Raptor, you e-mailed or wrote Universal a letter to find out? Then good, but no one can trust anyone in here after a couple posers came in. But I belive you until something shows us it is real. Like a quote from Spielberg on his site or something.

Well Johnston said this movie stands alone so I wouldn't expect any cameos from Hammond. His appearance at the end of TLW was sorta saying it was his last. I would expect something from Alan Grant. Seeing as the script about Miles posted is kind of based in the place which we saw at the start of JP, the raptor skeleton. But yeah seeing as Johnston said standing alone I would think it isn't an adventure caused by Hammond but rather a catostrophe caused by a storm.

    Just back again,
I still have to say that they are fake because I recieved a letter from Universal saying they are. In some ways maybe it is a cover up, they could be real! (he he) but I am almost sure that they are not 100% true, sorry guys just my opinion from the facts shown to me......

Raptor, this is more legit than you give it credit for. This is not another fake letter. Go to the link in the article and it takes you to the USA Today database. And the kind of info contained in the article is the kind they wouldn't have to fake, because it is not that informative to begin with. What IS clear with this ultra-reliable source, however, is that at most we will see characters such as Grant or Malcolm or Hammond in cameos at the best. We will be lucky in fact if we get Hammond, I believe.

Gee, the two females can be interchangable. And a boy for the led? Wow. Even Chrichten scratched that idea for JP Book. And Spielberg thinks we give a damn about a buncha nobody's on the island battling the dinos? I'm urprised at Speilberg. How could eh ever dream of doing thsi film Like I keep saying, petition for a real JP3. And Biosyn technically doesn't exist in the movies. But I wanna see DOdgson get his cmeupance. WAH!

I wouldn't be so sure of the characters - the are also kept highly confidential, in other words the characters are not real ones, once again people making something up for some reason, after sending these to the universal site, they send a letter back, and may i quote it.... that there are no names or castlists in the public eye at the moment - in other words these are as fake as can be

I liked JP. I didn't like TLW, AND JP3 IS GONNA SUCK! I mean Koepp is gone, Crichton is gone, Williams is gone, and Spielberg isn't even directing. I was hoping this one could be original, but it's just TLW. If he was going to create something then do the TLW novel by Crichton. Compared to the movie is rocked! I finished reading the book and found myself dissapointed at Spielberg for making TLW the way he did. Dodgson and BioSyn won't even appear again. It's a shame.

I agree with GoldblumRules in a way. I don't think it's going to suck big time, but I do think it's going to get bad reviews.

Well, now that a very reliable article has popped up about the current status of JP3's plot and characters, I will see what I have been dying not to say all along: This movie is going to be the nail in the coffin. The end of a once good saga. In short, it is going to suck big time.
