During the San Diego sequence in TLW, several joke movie ads can be seen in the video store, including Robin Williams in 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and Arnold Schwartzenager in 'King Lear'.

Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern "hooked up" (in real life) after Jurassic Park...I think they were together for about a year or so...engaged even.

Bob told me Hammond,Malcolm, and Nublar are mentioned. Since I asked. So, Hammond can be mentioned as dead or alive/ At least Grant doesn't demonstrate on Charlie. I hope the toys are Spino and T-rex, to forshadow things. I think Carlie is Grant's and the baby is Degler's.And do you really think a guy going cross country to dig would get full custody of his own kid? No.

any word on hammond, i heard he's going to be dead. . .

I think Mark is another thing to add to change. The audience thinks that Grant is Chuck's father! Duh! It is just that simple, and is not manipulative. They want to show the change in the last eight years of Ellie and Alan.

Can't wait for the dream sequence, that's a newbie for "Jurassic". The violence in this will be loaded! Whoa! I thought the Eddie "wishbone" rex scene was way violent! Yes!

Is it me or when Roland Tembo hunts the rex, the rex sounds AND looks like it is eating the young rex? I just wanted to point that out...holy shit! I just thought of something!

You know that confusing boat scene in TLW. One word, Pteradons! Yes yes yes!

    Dan, how old are you?

LOL. It's just a movie, guys. And the script is NEVER the same was the way they shoot the scene. Actors improvise... there are last minute changes and things. I think the scene is pretty funny, and very reminiscent of the opening scenes in Jurassic Park.

It's the actual script. I mean, you think he would go the trouble to studying all the spoilers online, integrating them into a phony script, typing it out in script format, then printing it out, THEN scanning it in as an image?

    Funny idea.

But no, it's real, and so far it's cool. Except it's about to get painful on the next page, I wager, when Mark emerges.

Whoa, who said he likes kids? I find that scene to be funny! They just wont fly through the scenes people, there will be shots and angles and stuff like that. Don't worry.

I think Grant's kid is his hat.

WHAT THE HELL IS THAT CRAP!?!
Do we know that this is the actual script,or is he making this shit up?

I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that it's cheesy. I mean, the dialogue in either of the first two. On the page, it sounds about the same. You have to try and envision the actors saying it.

    That dialogue sounds so cheesy!!
I really liked the first two pages though,it sounds really tense!!
But it might not be that way in the movie though, but well wait and see.

I do know this - when you add this development with Ellie to his faltering work, the only thing Grant has left is Billy.

If Billy doesn't make it through the film (and please don't tell me if he does), then Grant will have nothing left to live for.

    This is just sad.
It is a new day, things have changed. But in one way it makes the movie more real or with other words better.
    Sad sad............

I'm pretty sure they ARE gonna do that to Grant. Although obviously there's no reason to do it other than to make his life suck harder.

All the proof was on Bob's "Shooting Script" (the summaries for shots for each day) page 5, which mentions a man named Mark coming out of the house after this scene.

At 9:15:35 AM on 5/9/2001, DentonUSA said:
Speilberg does have that odd "bad father" theme running throughout most of his movies (even the *family* films) and now that he's not at the helm anymore, maybe Grant can finally be the "goofy, loveable father figure" he always wanted to be. (Even if he's living vicariously through Ellie's children. ) However, he should know by now not do do "dino-impressions" in front of kids. He's just not good at it.

At 9:13:57 AM on 5/9/2001, Bishop said:
You maniac! You blew it up! Damn you Ellie! Damn you to hell!

    Wait, wrong summer movie there.

I think that IS his kid. but ellie is the one that obviously looks after him.
Poor grant! there not gonna do that are they? just when you think all is well in the Grant household...
    Damn you Ellie! damn youuuuu!!

At 9:05:40 AM on 5/9/2001, Bishop said:
Well yeah, we WERE supposed to believe that he liked kids after the first one. Presumably wanted some with Ellie and never got to have any.

At 9:04:44 AM on 5/9/2001, DentonUSA said:
In the last movie, he HATED kids. Now he's frollicing with them in sandboxes. Did Tim and Lex change him THAT much??? Maybe he's getting soft in his old age.

At 9:02:23 AM on 5/9/2001, Bishop said:
Man, that's harsh. They're gonna try to convince us that Grant is a part of the family, right until Ellie's new man steps out of the house. Poor, poor bastard.
