The dilophosaurus in JP was actually very small compared to the actual Dilophosaurs. The real ones were about 15-20 ft long and were pretty tall, too. (From: Irusha S.)

Did anyone stop to think that maybe the monster line is in there as a joke reference to the first film? "Haha, he calls them monsters now, Haha."

    I think it's pretty clear.

<i>Next time, he should show some respect.</i>
Anyway, the Raptors attacked him. Granted, Grant was the only one to escape unharmed (Hammond doesn't count, no dino came anywhere near him.)
Methinks that cute Raptor Neill liked didn'tlike Grant very much.
I blame that sluttly tramp Sattler. He's still too depresed to think straight.
Seems JP changed him enarly as much as it changed Malcolm. I bet Lex is the only one who wouldn't mind going back, and she had the worst experience of all. Attacked dozens of times, sneezed on, nearly trampled to death, scared every second.
well, Lex really liked dinos at the end of JPBook. Crying at their deaths and all.

<i>"Lex they're not monsters , they just animals." - Grant JP.

Now he's going against what he told Lex.</i>

<i>That's no reason to call them monsters.. he didn't call them monsters in JP.. why is he calling them monsters in JP3?</i>

He *was* attacke by the Rex

Well, he attaked by the Rex. It never physicaly touched him, but it was coming after him. Also, the Raptor touched Grants hand, when he was trying to close the door. The Raptor put his hand on Grants hand. So, Grant did touch a dinosaur in Jurassic Park. He also, kicked the Velociraptor in Jurassic Park.

<i>Also Grant wasn't attacked by any dinosaurs in JP, not one single dinosaur even touched him let along attacked him.</i>

At 1:40:33 PM on 4/28/2001, Oviraptor said:
<i>Yeah I'd still call them animals, and show more respect towards them. You think someone who goes to yellow Stone National Park and gets attacked by a bear and lives calls the bear a monster afterwards? No, the person respects bears more.</i>

At 1:27:18 PM on 4/28/2001, JP Animal Control said:
Well, if you were attacked by dinosaurs that are much bigger than you and go around eating people, would you call them animals? Well, maybe Grant just didn't like the experince.

<i>Does Grant have to call the dinosaurs monsters?, I mean my God they're only animals..</i>
