Since a full skeleton of a pachycephlasaurus has never been found, TLW producers build half of it using "educated" guesswork. (From: Adam)

    cool,
its definatey the pteradon, since it takes place in a birdcage. Also,it's probably the same scene that was at the end of the trailer at showest.but the guy who saw the trailer did'nt say that you actually see the dino, but here it does.My guess is that they will show this footage at the end of the trailer in May!?!

    Hu guys,

I happened to see the news that night and it was just the same as what happened on Nightline... NZ nightline is just a shorter version of the 6 oclock news. I saw the it and it had very little on JP3, mainly other movies, like tomb raider, and lord of the rings but there was just a small mentioning of jp3 and they spoke a little bit about the lost world and jurassic parks success and then they showed the smallest bit of film ever... it was tiny, i would estimate it went for 5 seconds or less... and it was like a platform that sam and tea were in... no exactely a tree fort, but i can see where those people were coming from. From what I know, NZ most likely gets their news from abroad, and that means that some show must have shown it overseas before it came here!

For the record.. "Nightline" in the US (the ABC news show with Ted Koppel) is most certainly NOT the same one in New Zealand.

Whao........, T-rex vs. Spinosaurus, birds did evolved from dinosaurs with all the eveidence that paleontology has given us, and this dino-like bird in the film is maybe not the Pteranodon neither, it could be archaeopteryx for example, but one thing is that it might have not flew but it may have glided across there heads from to tree to tree. Not all Jurassic Park is fake I suspect. We all know that dinosaurs did not swim like there kin the Plesiosaurs etc. But in time some dinosaurs must have known how to swim, even big creatures such as a hippo live mostly all there lives in water, and for something closer to dinosaurs would be a crocodiles or aligators.

The late edition of the news? That sounds exactly like the show that airs here. Hopefully this same one will air tomorrow.

Now this is just unfair. It's a sad day when some of the first footage of a major summer relese is exclusively shown on a forign local news station, and not in a wide-relese teaser trailer.

Hey, you know what would be great? If Universal realized that there are people who want to see a movie they're going to relese, and who are willing to pay them money, so then they put some footage like this into a trailer!!

    Nah, that'll never happen.

    Yea, I'm still bitter.

First of all-it's AVIARY, not avery. Second-that doesn't prove anything.

I heard BOB JENSON from Hawaii Movie Tours on the radio. He was a guest on a travel show and was saying how they just recently wrapped up filming of JP3. Now I know what he sounds like at least. I just thought that was kinda cool. It's nothing new, though.

well, we know the movie has an avery.

if you will remember, in JP the novel, there was a log cabin style lodge, built on stilts, INSIDE the avery, so that the visitors could watch the pteranodons from the comfort of there balconys, but the lodge was not finished becuase the ceradactyls were attacking workers.

i know JP3 is on Sorna(joe confirmed it, although i still WISh it was on Nublar) but, if sorna has an avery TOO, then it is likely it also has a lodge inside the avery,(i.e. the "tree fort" structure)

At 12:03:08 PM on 3/25/2001, JP Animal Control said:
no, it probably means the Pteranodon.
