Embryo just got an e-mail saying that they shot 140 minutes of footage, and that the first cut was 95 minutes and it is now probably longer.

Well, IF JP3 is REALLY 95 minutes long, well this means that they only did, about 20 minutes in a month, 40 seconds a day !!!

And, it makes sence, trilogys ARE like than, Scream 3, Die Hard 3, ect...

The thing is they're still piecing together all the shots they have, and 95 mins is the shots they have together so far. They don't have just 1 roll of film, they have to piece rolls together and then put them all on one roll.

Obviously, JP had the whole introduction before the action happened, so of course that is going to be longer.
TLW was simply too much. There was hardly an intro, the entire movie was running from the Trex, and the half hour long San Diego Scene made the movie way too repetetive.
JP3 doesnt need much of an intro because of the plot. Boom, you're on the island in five minutes. Boom, the action starts for the next hour and twenty five minutes, which is still the same length of action, if not longer, in JP....

Guys it does not matter about the ILM shots. They will not add any more time to the movie. Right now they watch the movie without the dinosaurs and the spots are just empty. When they add in the dinosaurs it will be exactly the same except the spots will be full!

Well, if it is 95 mins, it is a brave thing to do really. If the story or script is unable to handle longer there isn't really any point in drawing it out too long. better short and sweet than overlong

THIRD- The group encounters MANY situations with spinos, Pteranadons, and rexes, including battle. 45 minutes
FOURTH- Raptors and cloning facility, 20 minutes.
FIFTH-Survivors flee, soldiers come on to beach. 15 minutes.
SIXTH- Survivors look back and recollect what happened, 5 minutes.
SEVENTH- Credits 5 minutes.
So w/ my judgements it would be in the range of 125-135 minutes. Two hours and 5 minutes - Two hours and 15 minutes.
