I'm not really sure how the second will go. I know I'll LOVE it, but I'm not so sure about the rest of the public. If you guys remember, the first movie did way better than the second. TLW was still good, but I really don't think it made as much money as JP. Which is understandable, because JP was "new" at the time. Hopefully we won't see a decrease in the movie's cash intake. Sequels kinda lose some money as they preogress along.

TLW didn't really have legs. Remember the huge opening followed by a really fast drop off. Ofcourse it will do well, Men In BlacK was like a short film and it made more than TLW. I think the fact it opens on a Wednesday will help, but the very next weekend Planet Of The Apes opens. That will hurt it, as people regularly turn out for big sequals unless they are truly awful, which JP3 won't be.

my main worry in the UK tomb raider which in teh UK must be one of the most hyped films ever well apart from harry potter. But tomb raider is out the week or two weeks before the jurassice park 3 which could effect juassice attendance as most will wait until the holidays to see tomb raider and jurassic park 3 is out on the first holiday weekend.
