The video tpe movies in the theater and release them on the internet while they are still in theaters and the quality is really good. So if nebody wants i would be willing to to make cd's or start a server where all the people who have to wait for the movie to be realeased can see it only a few days after the US realease. what do you guy's and girl's think.. One of the MAIN points was not to advertise a film to early as people will forget about it plus it can over hyoe the film if you keep seeing an advert months before th film is out.

Also you might want to take into consideration that the last Brendan Fraser film i.e Monkey Bone barely made enough money to cover production costs. So obviously Universal is going to want to plug TMR a little bit more just to sway public opinion towards the movie.
Another thing, Australias movie industry is nothing compared to Americas (I am an Aussie and I know it sucks). The entire population of our country can be represented by two of Americas cities. Same goes for the UK. However things are getting better, X-Men was released a day before the US here in Aus. (Granted it was a FOX release).

P.S I think delaying the trailer and the release is doing more good than harm, because I know for one thing, I am now more excited about this movie than I was 2 months ago :).

As far as JP3's opening weekend, I'll give you in the 50's and 60's, but anymore would probably be pushing it. The first one had a lot of hype, and it made $55 million it's first weekend. The Lost World however had more hype and the first movie was still in everybody's mind - it made $90 million (!). I here around town from people I talk to, "There's gonna be a Jurassic Park 3?!" Without a trailer, movie novices (everybody who doesn't see sites like this one on the net). C'mon Universal! Build a little hype, or at least let people know the damn things gonna exsist!
