that hadrosaur on the cover could easily be an Anatosaurus or a Maiasaura, like in TLW book. And they should have a Carnotaur in JP3. It's always nice to finish off a trilogy with a bang.

the book does not say that it only covers jp dinos so a corytho/hypacro mite not bein jp///

Majin, that would be the Carnotaurus. It was featured in The Lost World, the novel. And as for the book, those images have nothing to do with Jurassic Park Three. I have a disk called Dinosaur Discovery, a "Multimedia Experiance" that I've had since Jurassic Park first came out. The Triceratops and the Spinosaur are pictured in it. Besides, the coloration and look of that Spinosaur, is nothing like that of Stan Winsions. I'm sorry people, but if has anything to do with Jurassic Park, it will have little Jurassic Park original art in it.

Why was the one dino from the lost world book the one that could change color really fast never in any of the movies, with all the computer technoligy we have today it could be easy to put one in the next movie jp///?

Is that book coming out in Europe to? That would be great. I hope there are a lot of pictures from the movies.

Didn't some of the money that the JP series got, go to fund various palaeontological digs. That's what I always thought the JP Institute was.

There should be a Making Of Book. And with so much in preproduction for SW, there's plenty of time to do JP///. I mean, what else would Jody Duncan do?

Trust me, that is not a _Parasaurolophus_. Although the animal may have exhibited sexual dimporphism, the extent of it is not known to be that variable.

At 4:33:40 PM on 3/10/2001, dinosniper said:
and I must say, even though it sucks compared to the rex, that spino has teeth!

At 4:33:07 PM on 3/10/2001, dinosniper said:
has anybody thought of the fact that hadrosaur might just be a female parasaurolophus? After all, only the males had the long crests sticking out of the backs of their heads. The females had a different type of crest, like the one shown in the picture.

At 2:31:46 PM on 3/10/2001, Mallon said:
I would say it's most likely a _Corythosaurus_ for the simple reason that it is one of the most often-portrayed hadrosaurs. On the other hand, it could just as easily be a _Hypacrosaurus_-- this animal's head crest was very similar to that of _Corythosaurus_, only it seemed to have stood up a little more prominently, somewhat like we see in Walters' illustration.

At 1:57:47 PM on 3/10/2001, Compyraptor said:
Well it's not a Corythosaurus because the semi-circle crest on it's head seems to be going back but Corythosaurus' crest is straight like a Brachiosaurus' small semi-circle on it's head.

At 1:06:48 PM on 3/10/2001, Tango said:
Hmm, actually that could be a possibility. Hypacrosaurus and Corythosaurus are very similar.

At 1:00:45 PM on 3/10/2001, Phil Currie said:
    I take back what I said, it's a Hypacrosaurus.

    At 12:59:04 PM on 3/10/2001, tyranno_rex said:
    ITS A CORYTHOSAURUS!!!

At 12:18:04 PM on 3/10/2001, Gallimimus said:
    This IS a Corythosaurus.

At 11:56:28 AM on 3/10/2001, Tango said:
Nah, Corythosaurus' crest goes up and back like the hadrosaur featured on the cover. Lambeosaurus' crest goes up and forward.

At 11:54:20 AM on 3/10/2001, Phil Currie said:
    That's a Lambeosaurus not Corythosaurus.

WHAT ABOUT THE 'MAKING OF...' BOOK???? I hope there is one for this film, it sure deserves it from the behind the scenes point of view...

Megaraptor they were just rumours at the time. Anyway I hope Ankylosauus & Corythosaurus are in JP 3.

Didn't Dan say it was on the dinos in the JP series? That would mean Corythosaurus and Ankylosaurus would be in JP3.

Look, it's an ankylosaur on the front cover! Oh well I'm probably just getting my hopes up. But if hopes all I got left...

    Fang?

Hey now, a Corythosaurus in JP3? Looks like a possibility since it has its mug across the JP Institute Field Guide!

look at that Spino in the picture and look how it does not have fangs like that creature in the photo of USA Today...HMMMMM...

Nevermind! I just realized that book is written by Holtz and Brett-Surman-- two of the top dinosaur professionals out there. And it's illustrated by Robert Walters-- one of the best dino-illustrators out there! Cool!

What's ggoing on that would make the brachio rise up like that. Does the spino-trex battle involve other big JP game?

Notics the images on the front of the book are the exact ones that Dan posted a while ago that everyone thought were fake. Ha, I guess not!

Hmm, so will this be a dinosaur encyclopedia with the JP name ties to it, or is this possibly a JP fans dream of the undeclared official fictional history of the ingen corportation? I sure hope it's not just the obvious stuff.
