I seriously doubt that it matters which movie is playing. I see all sorts of previews before movies from all different film companies.
I find this to be a quite interesting tactic by Universal to hold off on the advertising.

The Planet of the Apes trailer was really good. I was surprised. Now that is on my best summer flicks hit list. The Harry Potter trailer was very surprising as well. I cant believe that it looks so much like what I thought it would be in the book. Tomorrow will the new Mummy Returns trailer also come with the Mexican?

His source that said they won't release the trailer is a theater. They usually don't know much of what will be coming out with something like Jp3. Studios like to keep it a big secret like Lord of The Rings. And with Planet of the Apes there going to try and compete but not let many know.
