If there's one thing I hate, its nonsense speculation. Guys this Pteranodon is perfectly fine with the tiny exception of no hair. The crest is perfectly accurate to the skull of a pteranodon ingens. This ptera WILL be in JP3, so don't bother placing it as a mutant, or thinking that it won't be in the movie. Its a Stan Winston maquette! Of course it'll be in JP3.

Well you're right about the hair, but I don't think the forward head and neck is a problem. Paleontologists have always depicted them like this, as has every documentary. Plus if this wasn't possible, Jack Horner would have told Winston to fix it. The bill fits a Pteranodon ingens skull perfectly as well. It was not very narrow at all until it ended at the tip.
