Star Wars fans might recognize the redwood forests Ian & Co. walk through in TLW as Endor from ROTJ -- the same Northern California forests were used. (From: 'Vader')

I've seen the Lord of the Rings trailer already. I suppose you could consider that a 'teaser' though. :-)

I think it played here in Australia before 'The Family Man' (good film IMO).

I hope its that one they showed at the toy show, cuz it sounds really cool. And, Monkeybone does look good, and I am looking forward to the LOTR and HP trailers.

There are two sets of trailers that you see before movies in theatres. Trailers that are actualy attached to the movies, and trailers that the theatre decides to put in. So it is possible to see the JP3 trailer before Monkeybone if the theatre decides to do that.

The theater manager decides which trailers are played before a feature presentation. It's all up to them.

Movie studios don't have control over what theaters decide to put in front of features.

In The Netherlands they always show trailers from different companies before the actual movie so it can be true, still I won't be able to see it if it is attached to this movie.

Considering that the big-name studios often work together, it is possible to have a Vivendi-Universal release trailer attached to a 20th Century Fox. Although I must say Fox and Universal don't often work together.

Has anyoen discerned a plot to Monkeybone? And does anybody see the resembelance between the moneky and Brendon? His character says they look alike. I don't see it. I fear Monekybone will keep peopel from seeing JP///. "They attach JP/// to that? I'm not going to see JP///."

What I'm hearing is that 20th Century Fox is releasing the "Planet of the Apes" trailer with Monkeybone. This means that the trailer will literally be attached to the movie print (Only movie trailers from the same studio are attached to a movie). I'm about 95% sure of this.

As for the JP3 trailer, who knows? It could be with Monkeybone, but I doubt it. It won't be literally "attached" with it, but it could be shown with it. A lot of studios REQUEST that their trailer be shown with another movie if they are of different studios.

But why on earth would they put it with Monkeybone when they could put it with "3000 Miles to Graceland" or ANYTHING ELSE better coming out in the next couple of weeks.

But I do hope we see it soon.

Ive been to the theaters a lot recently, and I can tell you it does not matter which company is doing what, because you will see trailers from all different companies...

Anyway, it would make sense...it might help Monkeybone, which is not getting a terrible lot of hype. Also, since the Toy Fair apparentally showed the trailer-or at least completed footage-there's no reason it can't be shown in theather ASAP.

Is it the DVD one or a different one?

The company distributing the film does not always control the trailers.

It may be true. Because I went to see Chicken Run and that was made by Dreamworks but they had a trailer for Disney's The Kid. Two differnt companies, so it may be true. I am hopeing.
