Holy Pokemon ripoff. The DInod ex is the Pokedex but with a make your own dino and battle arena added in. And that Interactive Raptor. Wow. Some fun. Too bad Nintendo is too stupid to do that with Pokemon. Imagine the fun of capturing and trianign a life size Charmander.
But the loom of the I-Raptor. Why a Turkey neck? why is it's upepr torso about to fall off? What if it doesn't walk like a real velo would?

I think by "alpha pteranodon" they mean the leader of the flock, like the alpha male in a pack of hyenas. of course, i could be wrong.

okay i mentioned earlyer my idea that the various raptors might be hybrids (like in chaos effect)and my hypothesis now has some back up 1. one toy comes with a ALPHA PTERANODON 2. u can CREATE DINOSAURS BY COMBINING DNA on the dinodex oh the "raptor" is a bigger pile of shit than the trike poop in jurassic park (remember ellie diggin in da doo) maybe some one already brought up the chaos effect thing i dunno lalalalalaraptorlalalalalashitlalalalala

Yeah, the DinoDex is a total rip-off of the PokeDex. Except 4 1 thing. It's 47,839.6 times cooler than that thing! Still, I'm probly 1 of the few Pokemon fans on this site.

It's not the raptor guys, dans got a wrong pic here, go to action-figure.com and see the pic they got, it does look like a raptor there.

Y'know, it occurs to me that this might be the "off" position" What I'm curious about is, how are you guys seeing a lack of the inner toe claw?
The lighting is just not good enough
If I had a spare $100, I'd get one... maybe if I had a Kid, then I could use a Birthday as an excuse to buy it, play with it at night..

It looks really cool to me, even if it is crap. I know my way around latex and make up appliance, if it's crap, I'll make my own covering!

Did anyone notice these toys are freaking ugly! I hope they change the look of them cause thay look fake as hell!

That interactive raptor is fucking awesome.
Its pricey and doesn't look that realistic but it sure as hell does some cool things.

jp3chaos, that will be pretty pricey, lol, the total of all of the toys listed, including the robot raptor, is $526.68, and that is only including the list we have here,

It is a raptor, the head structure is not right for a T-Rex, and SirCastor, I hope you are right, but either way, I cannot afford it, $100 is way too much,

I think that the Tiger "raptor" may be a rex. Look-only two fingers. That, plus the big head and no foot claw...?

Actually I don't think that raptor has anything to do with JP3. If you look at action-figure.com there is another Tiger Raptor and it looks way more JP!!!!!

The Disproportionate head would be semi-accurate I would think. Being that this is representing a young Raptor, it matches up quite well I imagine.
Yes, it looks a little ugly, but this is a TRADE SHOW picture. The product is probably not finished. We really don't know much about the product so don't make final decisions yet.

At 11:57:36 AM on 2/10/2001, Drakkenfyre said:
And is it just me, or does the head look a little out of proportion for the body?,

I WANT THAT RAPTOR, but $100 is too high, and it does look rather poor, the skin hangs down and obviously looks like latex, I was expecting something that looked more real, it makes it look cheap, it goes from latex, to cloth, to plastic, yuck, I could see from latex, to the plastic head, but the cloth in the neck really makes it look shabby, and the lack of a toe claw really looks like they did not spend alot of time making it,

I noticed the tooth thing about the pteranodons too. I hope they fix it. We never had problems like ths when Spielberg was in charge and insisted on personally inspecting every product made!

I'm hoping that is just a bad picture (the tail is also wrong - dragging and curved at a classic 19th Century angle), but the premise and the idea sounds awesome. translation: I want this raptor.

Wow I think that raptor will be interesting, but one thing I noticed...
The toy pteranodons have teeth? What the hell? I hope this is just a goof on Tiger's part, because the word pteranodon literally translates to "winged and toothless."

At 10:30:50 AM on 2/10/2001, Ankylosaurus said:
Look at the feet of the raptor, they don't even have a foot claw! And what is with the color changing eyes, I don't know much about dinos, but using todays animals as a base I do not think they did that.
