hey...i hope grant is the only one that survives...i was wondering it would be so cool if at the end when they get of the island and go away we see a pleaseasure( the water dino ) pop up out of the water and give a roar then go back under and that's where the movie would end..or a megladon ( the giant shark that is now believed to be extint...but they can't roar mayby see a fin ir have the camera go under water so we can see it swim by...and have it open it's mouth and end right when it come down on the camera)

This is a drawing, and in the reality the Spinosaurus WAS NOT bigger than a T - Rex.
How can people say this is a raptor? It's obvious it's a Spino. There are very stupid retardeds in this world.

At 8:24:40 AM on 2/9/2001, Dr Malcolm said:
It looks like one of the drawings used to design the look of the dino, the JP & TLW dvds has them on the special features(drawings the t-rex and other dinos).
JP3 looks cool, cant wait 2 c it!

Actually Grantrules the Spino is a little bigger than the T-rex. Too bad the rex lost the battle with the spino (sorry to spoil it for you). It happened the first 10 minutes of the movie. But don't worry we all don't know the rest of the movie yet. I still think JP3 is gonna kick ass.

It's a nice drawing. It looks very much like a promotional shot without any backgrounds. You put a Jurassic Park sign over it's head and your set. Thanks for posting this!

That picture is tight. I heard that spinosaur will be as big as t-rex and there is a big battle between them! Cant wait to see it! 160 days!!!!!!!!!

Its not a raptor. That is something we definitely know. It just has a few slight anatomical inacurracies.

on second thought, that pic looks like one of a raptor

I personally think that pic is pretty good, and as accurate as it could be, given the circumstances. Only a few people on the inside actually know what the spino looks like. I think whoever drew that just took a pic of a charging rex and changed it around (like the arms, head, and sail), but other than that it's pretty damn cool. Can't wait to see the CGI version get its ass whooped in the movie! Ha ha ha.

Hey?! Where's the nostrils? And you guys are right! Spinosaurus does have a thunblike finger, they forgot to add! Maybe they're planning to glue it on, or something! : )

    At 6:40:58 PM on 2/8/2001, Rob_Redwing said:
Sure, it's possible that it could seal it's nostrils. However, the snout would not be submerged for any great period of time (especially if it was catching fish with it's "thumb" claw). Also, you would still expect to see the trace of the nasal fenestra, which isn't located on the top of it's head, but rather is in the typical theropod position above the premaxilla.

Speculation, but id the spino was a piscivore, it could probably seal its nostrils. Maybe theyre sealed??

Is it just me or does it look like a big raptor with a sail and no middle claw. I dont know but it does look cool. I really dont care about the spino i want to see the new T-Rex.

    Details, details....

The color pattern is exactly like what we've seen on the maquette, and the toy.

    My three thoughts:

    1) It looks nothing like the art of Crash.
    2) Yeah, where is that enlarged thumb claw?
    3) And where are its nostrils?

Well, the sail isn't too high, so it looks JP3 to me. But, the colouring + the absence of those strange horns bothers me.

Hey raptor13, I bet some of the troops will get killed or eaten. In TLW, when the people went on an expedition, some of them were killed. One guy attacked by compies, several have been hunted down by raptors and one got squashed by the female T-rex. I bet the Spino will eat some of troops.

Maybe I'm going blind, but it really looks like it has no nostrils. If this is so, I'd question how authentic it is. I mean, if you see the other photos here, you could certainly draw your own, and use the same color scheme to make it look official. Just my two cents.
    Peace,
    Rob

I think that the pic may come from the jurassi cpark comic books for the third installment theirs a rumour about them goin round here in England. They will probably resemble the ones from the original series for Jp1.
