A scene in JP was planned where they found Gennaro's leg with a t-rex tooth embedded in it. The idea was scrapped due to its 'gore factor'. (From: 'Writer')

I remember there was a toy when you have two raptors slashing each other, knocking one another off the ring by using the handles and buttons to control them, similar to hand to hand combat except claw to claw. I think they should make a T-rex vs. Spinosaurus version don't you think, Dan?

I'm happy to say that I'm quite happy with the way this movie is turning out. That looks like a cool Spinosaurus toy and I like the new pattern on the raptor.
I think the plot will not be especially detailed, but it's okay as long as it makes sense and the dinosaurs get lots of scenes and lots of people get eaten and there are a lot of different types of dinosaurs in the movie and they explain why a huge animal like the spinosaurus wasn't seen in either of the first two. Plus it would be cool to see the Baryonyx and Spinosaurus fishing at the river, and then maybe the people swing by in a raft or something, and well, the dinosaurs attack.
I think those things would make up for a plot that was not especially detailed.

Say what you will, from the looks of the figurines @ the site
action-figure.com these toys have got me ultra excited. they look way past coo and im absolutely, erm, yeah, excited. I cant help myself they rock! Although that gun that Tea Leoni's character is holding looks a bit weird. But the bikes and weapons rock, the characters are amazing and well designed, and the dinosaurs, well lets just say ive never seen a finer Rex or Raptor figure, and the Spino, homina homina homina. Most important, i want that Grant figurine! im gonna buy 3, one to play with, 1 to keep in mint condition, and another to use as a lucky token. And i have 250 buks tucked away in my little piggy bank under my bed, locked safe in a box where only I have the key, just in preparation to D-Day. And im saving every week.Man this is going to be sweet.

The markings on the dinosaurs were realistic, maybe not the "JP" symbol, but in the book, each and every dinosaur was tatooed with an ID #, I believe Muldoon identified one, it was dead, and he looked at the sole of it's foot, and there the ID # was tatooed, and he radio'd in and reported which one died, that way they kept track of the dino's and which ones had died,

I meant the weapons DONT look convincing.

The second lines of both TLW and JP looked like the actors. Just a few figures were really different (the first Roland Tembo figure, the first Nick Van Owen, Eddie looked different-but not that bad). In TLW, the toys were made, then the writers of the movie changed a bunch of the characters around so they were supposed to be different. (Eddie was supposed to look like the figure did at first). And they don't have to look EXACTLY like the actors, but the last two lines at least looked realistic. Anyway-the point is-the first two movies' action figures looked like real people. Chaos effect and these (as they appear) look like comic book characters. Plus I meant their outfits, weapons (on the vehicles and predictably on the figures) look convincing. The figure in the car looks like a Chaos effect figure. There's little color or contrast. The old figures at least had color and looked human. These look all futuristic or retro.....or something, and plain.
Gribblikk meant they had "tatood" or "branded" numbers on them with the JP logo. The old vehicles looked more like real life vehicles as well.
They may be for kids, but kids are picky too. I remember when Kenner came out with Congo figures (cheap JP and Terminator repaints) and I was disapointed and not convinced.

that hatching trike was a lost world toy there was a trike and a raptor. they are oversixed eggs were u remove a section of the shell to reveal a baby dino
    my cousin has the trike
the worse thing w/the dinos is that they hed id #s on them that makes it unrealistic

None of the TLW toys-and a good chunk of the JP toys-were really that true to the movie. Both lines included Dinosaurs that weren't in the movie, and the human figures looked almost nothing like the actors.

There's no Spino in the pics, just a Raptor and the 2 Trikes.

Compared to the size of a regular JP action figure (such as the one inside the Commanche), the Commanche appears to be about 8 to 10 inches long.

This movie isn't going to be as dark as the lost world and this has been stated lots of times. Finally the figures are aimed ar young children NOT adults (they look fine to me)

At 6:17:10 AM on 2/1/2001, Ed Regis said:
That's it. They look cartoonish. Even the figures (what you can see of them in the vehicles). They're all yellow, bright green and silver. Just like Chaos effect. The figures in Chaos Effect were DUMB. Just characters from TLW all retro fitted. I'm glad I'm past the playing with action figures age.

I thought since this was going to be a dark sort of movie. thats what the box art would be black and silver like the symbol. TO me there just doing a rip of the jp box art and the toys look like there from a cartoon not something worthy of the lable Jurassic Park! But still we havent seen em all so lets wait till we have seen em?

At 4:52:03 AM on 2/1/2001, Drakkenfyre said:
The Commanche looks more realistic, but it does look out of proportion, too short, and see the damage on one of the engines behind the rotor?, and what looks like claw marks?, hmmm, and it is a Spinosaurus in the top right, you can see his sail in the background,

It's bigger than that sucky Air S.A.B.R.E., i'd say it's about 14" long. The car looks 6-8" high and 10" long.

FYI, on closer inspection, that Commanche doesn't look much bigger than the JPCE Air SABRE vehicle. Just a little longer. That yellow-car vehicle looks big though, and you may notice is not featured in any previous toy list that we know of. I wonder how many other toys there are that we don't of.

I think it looks to me that Kenner rushed through this line(so far). I mean look at the raptors headcrest. It doesn't even look like one. Maybe it's that one robotic raptor because it's just a tiny bigger than the Triceratops. Plus the new cards the dinos are on suck.

I think it all looks bad. The copter is all off sacale (I know what a comanche looks like). the car looks fake, and the trike....well it's not that bad I guess. But they look like Chaos Effect repaints. The figures look the same. Plus-maybe they should have come up with something besides vehicles. I mean-there doesn't seem to be a big place for vehicles in the plot. A plane that crashes. That's sounds like that's it. The raptor looks like a JP utahraptor repaint with a few changes. There isn't that much color either. It's all bright green or dark. Plus all the wierd looking capture gear on the car. It made sense in the first two lines, but...with this it's still like Chaos effect. And the card looks sloppy. They tried to add to much if you ask me.

the card is pretty neat its like they mixed the cards on Jp and LW so its a kind of inbettween, Did any of you see the cool un-relesed trike for the lost world I hope they have that come out ( if you want to see it go on Ingennet.net wants its back up) and I wonder why the box is so big for the trike underneth it maybe there is going to be more with the toys (lets hope to god not capture gear again thou I already have to much for my toys, tyo the point were you dont know what goes on what)
