I'd still like to believe that all of these on set rewrites are becuase Johnson (and other members of the cast & crew) keeps coming up with better ideas on how to shoot a certain scene. It would hold things up, new ideas (though not really major) are bought up all of the time when making a film. Maybe there's just a lot of that going on and maybe JP3 will be all the better for it.

Joe Johnston is the man to be pissed at right now... he needs to pull himself together and shoot the damn movie. i don't know what macy's problem is. i think he needs to wait till he sees the finished movie before he complains about it. i had to direct a movie for a class last year and we pretty much made it up as we went along and it turned out great. i just think macy has no faith in the project whatsoever.

he is assured his money for his part in JP3 and can say what he wants to to newspapers, but if he wanted any $$$ for the web-cast he had to say nice things.

The way he's complaining you'd think he is gonna get killed off in the movie. I wouldn't mind now that he is being pissy. I am sure that JP1 and 2 went through some type of snag now and then. This is exactly what someone else said, he has never done this big of a movie before and dosn't realize that sometimes you need to do retakes and even make up shots as you go. He needs to be a little more professional, in my opinion.
