Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the trailer being played before Unbreakable is not JP3, it is Pearl Harbor, according to Cinescape. If things couldn't suck more Universal has decided to retract the Mummy Returns trailer being run on prints of The Grinch.
Looks like Universal stole Thanksgiving!

Movie trailers are usually placed on which ever movie the projectionist deems fit. Unless the movie studio specifically asks for the JP3 trailer to be put on for Unbreakable, then there is no gaurantee. Also, some movies have a trailer already on them, before the movie starts, this might be the case of Unbreakable, but who knows (besides your local theaters projectionist) if it will be there or not until Wed.

I used to be a projectionist, and the trailers used to come days in advance. If you call a movie theater, make sure you get the office number and ask to talk to projection.
