The 'unlucky bastard' eaten by the Rex in the San Diego sequence is none other than TLW's screenwriter, David Koepp.

Yes, ih8wasps, but when the movies get delayed, the movie baddies don't kill the viewing audience.

Wouldn't you rather have them take all the time they need to make it an awesome movie than to have them rush through it and have the mivie suck? (even though it is taking too long)

If I had a choice between geting the movie out fast and doing a poor job, or waiting longer and have a better movie, I'd definately wait. Just be patient...

I'm not worried either. This type of delay can happen for any number of reasons, not all of them bad. All we need is confidence in the director, and trust in that whatever is causing this delay is not necessarily going to affect the end quality of JP3.

If Spielberg was directing, this film wouldn't have started without a completed script. I think you'll find that the script to Jurassic Park changed - watch "the making of.." and Spielberg says that they decided to change the ending at the last minute as he didn't think anyone would forgive him if the T-Rex didn't make one last appearance.
Also in TLW the original ending was to have the Pteranodons attack the helecopter. Again Spielberg changed it and had the T-Rex taken to the mainland - none of which was in the script at the time of shooting. So don't panic. Personally I am still not sure about the end of TLW but what is there still sounds better than a couple of Pteranodons attacking a helecopter.
My point is - remain optimistic. Since shooting began they may have found it is possible to do a better scene than one that was in the script, either way don't worry it will be great. If you are a fan you will love it.

I don't think they should rush the filming. As in true trilogies, the last one has to be the far most the BEST! So in order to do that, they need to pace themselves and not rush through the filming. That way they'll get a lot more special effects done, less scenes cut, and better special effects!!! So let's be patient and let them do the work! So that JP3 will be worth the wait!!!!

I am a fan, and I have serious doubts on this film. Allt he atcion will amount to nill because they'll rush it, do a half assed job, and cut the good scenes and keep the crap.

They should. Remember, they filmed The Lost World through late December, and that opened the following May- five months. If JPIII is done in February, they should have it done in time for July. March... now that, my friend, is a long shot. It's my guess the stuff they have left to do in Feb./ March is more story-related; remember Bob saying how they were rewriting on the set and barely knew what they were filming at the time? If it's CGI-intensive, that's kinda scary. They need more than four or five months to do intensive CGI work (though the opening compy scene in LW was the last scene they had to do in CGI).

So will they have it done by July? This really sux!

It's hard to remain optimistic, realistically speaking (whatever that means). If I wasn't a diehard JP fan I wouldn't have any confidence in this at all. First of all, if Spielberg was directing, this film wouldn't have started out without a completed script. Second, it would have been finished AHEAD of time rather than after the fact. Aye!
