Jurassic Park made obscure dinosaurs like Velociraptor and Dilophosaurus household names. The newfound fame attracted marketers to the dinosaur money train, inspiring new basketball teams (the Toronto Raptors), and useless spin-off products such as the Meanie Babies' "Velocicrapper". I think that probably the MPAA already saw enough footage to rate it PG-13.

The Dilophosaurus in JP was physicley incorect. Dilophosaurs were seven feet tall, not four feet tall!

    When was Dilophosaurus confirmed?

Jurassic Park has the right not to attach to the Grinch movie as a trailer because this movie isn't finished.

If you actually Go to the MPAA website, you'll see that JP3 HAS NOT been rated yet.

In other words, the letter was referring to JP3.

Hay, I saw on the IMDB.com that JP3 has alreadey been certified by the MPAA as a
PG-13, but the movie isn't even finished yet! What's up with that?

I'm sure that the classic DVD JP3 sneek peek will be shown before The Grinch, at least it will be fun to see the audience's reaction to that stinkburger.
Remember, just because alot of JP3 has been filmed, doesn't mean that alot of JP3 is finished and ready to be shown. Most, if not all, of the editing and special effects are done in post production. So just don't expect a teaser with actuall scenes, or lines from the movie this week.

But with the live "webcast" happening soon, I'd think Universal might want to start the buzz machine early....

Yeah......TLW trailers werent in theaters until december, and that movie came out on Memorial Day, as opposed to JP3's July release date.

I doubt there will be a trailer in front of the Grinch. I think we will see The Mummy Returns, the release date for that is almost 3months before JP3 and there hasnt been a trailer for the mummy yet. So I think Universal will want to promo that first.

I would rather JUST the teaser trailer to promo the film than have them come with a more in depth one nearer the releas date as it would in experance spoil the film

I don't know, maybe the title will be "Jurassic Park///: The Jurassic Park before The Lost World, but after Jurassic Park", so in other words, JP3TJPBTLWBAJP. Yeah, that sounds good. But anyway, there should be a good trailer coming soon, but not before "The Grinch", I'd think that they'd come out with one sometime in late December, theres too much time right now. At least thats what I think.

I think that the trailer won't be finshed in time for the Grinch, but if they don't get it done they still can show the first teaser.

By the way, Joe Johnston has confirmed that there will indeed be a Dilophosaurus in JURASSIC PARK 3. We have heared about scenes with all of the dinosaurs except the Dilophosaurus. What is going on?

They have filmed a ton of JURASSIC PARK 3 already so they could really make one hell of a trailer. They got the boat scene, the plane scene etc.....

I think they're actually going to call it "Jurassic Park 3"...

I hope this is true, but I kinda doubt it. It's still very early. Now, I have a question that is completely off subject. Does anyone know what the official title for JP3 will be? I know they can't just call it Jurassic Park III, especially if it takes place between JP and TLW. So, any word on a real title yet?
