When TLW was filmed in 1997, satellite phones were complicated pieces of technology that required a brief-case full of equipment. The satellite phone in JP3, however, is only slightly larger than most cell phones (and works much better too).

Well they really did cut back Jp and then more so on LW to make sure they could get the a rating that was not R. So yeah any film coming with this type of film that is extremely appeling to young kids would never cut out that fan base

Through his heart? Yeah sure how bout no!

Since JP was never emnat for kids to begin with, I doubt they're really worried about that.

I think that this whole scene sound like sh!t, as stated earlier any scene resembling anything like this will be removed, you don't want to scare the little kids do you.

How would the security guard get all these details? I'm not saying it cant be done but it would be pretty hard. I still think this guy is just pulling our legs

What's wrong with security guards, other than they can't read movie scripts? I'm being sarcastis, here.

That was my excuse before to prove a point. Anyway, paragliders magically appearing. And I think they were going to glide to Nublar, and take the Raptor boat. Then meet Spino.

    a security guard... LOL!!!

I'd like to know who this guy is. Maybe Embryo could ask him what he does at Universal?

    Well-whatever.
People that time forgot? Yeah-that was pretty bad. That part where it carries off that Um guy, right? You could see the wires it was hanging from! Actually, that and the one before it weren't all that bad except for the special effects. And they were just as good as all the others at that time I guess.

I know I'm already gonna get some kind of flack for that because there is a tiny clip at the end of TLW where we see Pteranodons flying about, but keep in mind that's all they had to do for that clip- fly around (and one landed on that branch).

At 8:17:55 PM on 11/12/2000, GoldblumRules said:
No matter if this is accurate information or not, the Pteranodon FX sequences will be among the hardest, if not the hardest, to pull off out of the whole series. Scientists know even less about the behavior of flying reptiles than they do dinosaurs, and in addition we don't exactly have many flying reptiles in the present to look at for a reference. Anyone ever see The People that Time Forgot?

Sorry, I wasn't thinking when I was writing, I meant to say where did they get the pairagliders from

I was thinking the exact same thing as Seige_6, whwere did th pairagliders I think all this news is bull and would like to know who the hell this guy is

I thought Billy was a girl in the cast list? I'm not sure, though.

At 5:39:22 PM on 11/12/2000, Carter said:
Just a thought, if this is true I wonder who Billy could be calling on the mobile phone, could it be BioSyn or does he have a partner on the island.

At 5:22:07 PM on 11/12/2000, Carter said:
The scene sounds quite good, but like Seige 6 said, if they had no supplies where did the Paragliders come from. They seem to appear as if from nowhere.

    At 5:14:02 PM on 11/12/2000, Seige_6 said:
Didn't it say in the thing that they had no supplies with them? Then where did the paragliders come from? Plus, why didn't they just use their paragliders and get off the island in the first place? This is bull.

At 5:11:25 PM on 11/12/2000, Embryo said:
Yes, if it was un JP-like then no wonder they deleted it! Can we get back to *this* news?

    At 5:06:11 PM on 11/12/2000, Gladiator6k said:
this would be cool but i still think this guy is bull shit.... mostly because the scene about the head sliding down the window and the guts pouring out of the spino, even if it was edited out or whatever they would never use something like that... and i think this is fake too

At 5:02:58 PM on 11/12/2000, Embryo said:
    Tight scene?
