They should have all-new dinosaurs, except the raptors and rexes. Keep them, they're classic JP material. But the spinosaurs? Bull. Total bull. Spinos suck. No way one would even think of bothering a rex like that.

I really hope that 99% of these rumours ARE just rumours.

Maybe to try something new. Afterall, you can't expect rexes and raptors to be the only attacking dinso around.

    Good thing the scrapped it!!!!

I think it's fake cause it sounds dumb. Why would they put a spino in as a new star and then kill it?

Let's just be happy they got rid of it. People like Joe must have been pretty pissed off with it :)

A little too gory for Jurassic Park, but a good idea.

I don't believe this for a second. That decapitation alone would snatch this film an 'R.' Neither Joe Johnston or Steven Spielberg would ever feasibly conceive of such a scene. Don't get me wrong, I love gore, and seeing the Rex rip out the guts of the Spino would be a very awesome sight, but not for JP! I do imagine however we will see the Rex duke it out with the Spino in the end and win, and if this is true, I like how they integrated the ending of the LW book in there with the boat shed.

At 3:49:28 PM on 11/10/2000, Paragirl said:
Its tradition to scrap a JP movie's first ending so if this rumor is true we probably knew it was going to happen.

I'm not sure but I think Dan posted something about a Spino Vs T Rex scene a few weeks ago.

    This rumor is pure bull.

If they wer einto spilled guts, we'd ahve sene Nedry's all over the palce. That, at leats, is in the book. The head soudns like a sick,c rappy looking version of the goats leg.
But it doens't amtter if they woudl do the scene or not, they'r enot, end of story.

Just a few days ago. Look under the comments under the news of the Logosaur a few days back. I suggested the idea of a Tyrannosaur vs. Spinosaur scene. While everyone was discussing on whether the Rex was better or the Spino was better and who should or will be the main killer star.

At 12:01:00 AM on 11/10/2000, Embryo said:
You posted this a few days ago? Where?

    >:(

Well, I bet this isn't true. I'm not saying it isn't...but still I dunno. I mean, did I not just come up with this idea a few days ago, and suddenly someone posts up the Tyrannosaur and Spinosaur battle idea? COPYRIGHT!

I agree with DH4, but there is also a new director, and after all of those childrens movies, maybe he wants to do something gory and JP is just the right thing for it. But c'mon, a guys head sliding down the windshield? Thats just plain stupid.

This is exactly the kind of
!@#$%^!@#$%^&*!@#%^& thats going to screw this movie up. I hope all of these rumors are not true.

Forget what I just said, in the world of JP the T Rex would thrash its ass!!

At 9:23:41 PM on 11/9/2000, Carter said:
With the number of differences in opinion of whether the T Rex was a scavenger or not, I'm not sure it would be that clear which would win.

I'm not implying here that Spinosaurus was not a strong dinosaur, but the facts remain.

At 7:11:41 PM on 11/9/2000, Gallimimus said:
I agree with Dr. Marcos, Ovi. You got it wrong. A T.rex is far more strongly built than a Spinosaurus. T-rex was a very massive animal, with powerful hind legs, impressive jaws, thick neck and all. Spinosaurus is only longer ( I think it's a matter of one or two meters) from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail.

    Really, Oviraptor...

At 7:09:46 PM on 11/9/2000, Oviraptor said:
there's no evidence to suggest that Spinosaurus was just a fish eater..

    At 6:52:15 PM on 11/9/2000, D.Marcos said:
Hang on here, I agree that the ending doesn't fit, but I think it does sound very cool.

My issue though, is that Oviraptor said that T. rex would lose to an S. aegyptiacus. I think that that is blatantly untrue, T. rex could beat it any day, S. aegyptiacus is only a fish eater, not a hunter. By the way, I mean no offense to Oviraptor, I just disagree with you.

    sounds more like Carnosaur LOL!

What the........ Is this the ending to JP3 or is it a scene from Carnosaur.

    sweet? LOL right......

That scene sounded sweet, however it did not sound like a proper ending. I think it would make a better mid-movie
    scene.

This does not sound like a Jp scene. First of all it is to gory and second it sounds pretty bad, I mean the T-rex runs right passed them and they just get away on the boat? Where is the conflict?

At 5:30:40 PM on 11/9/2000, Oviraptor said:
    yeah really..

    At 5:25:51 PM on 11/9/2000, Gladiator6k said:
that is bull crap... they would have ever evern even wrote such a gorry scene... cleve or whatever is a liar.... they would never even think of showing a head sliding down a window like that or a dinos stomach pouring out like that

    its bull

At 4:53:21 PM on 11/9/2000, Oviraptor said:
no wonder a T-Rex could never take on a Spinosaurus and win..

yeah..nothing can beat the original JP ending, that's for sure

That ending really sucked anyway. It is a good thing that they scrapped it. It was too violent. JURASSIC PARK 3 SHOULD BE MORE GENTLE LIKE THE ORIGINAL JURASSIC PARK!
