My own personal opinion is that they have crashed on Nublar. If not, then they are stuck on Sorna. Anything could happen to cause them to crash and I think we will just have to wait and see what it is.

The spinosaur rips the nose off the plane? Then what? He goes all 'Orville Wright' on them? They may be huge but a plane would scare the absolute crap outta the poor darlings. This scene could be costly- let's hope it all goes to plan, but then again, nature can't be controlled, right? I thought so.

I suspecting that this is on sorna, and the scene where they take off and the spino is in front of them. When they get in the air they relax, but flying dino's attack them and they crash back on the island. The whole time the spino was watching and it goes to their crash site.
