Michael Crichton's original idea for Jurassic Park was a story about a college student who created a single dinosaur from fossil remains. After finding that unsatisfactory, he put it aside before coming up with the theme park idea. (From: SeanArcher)

That's just silly, what is different then showing postive images of men. I think it's just one of those stupid ideas that they put into movies. All people that die should be held at the same respect, if it was a bad character or not. There is always a reason why a person might do something bad, it could be from a bad childhood, or maybe something even deeper then that. That is personally how I feel when characters die in movies.
In the TLW book it seems that Dogson was in it, though I haven't read it I can't be sure.

Opposite as in on screen together. Dodgeson would stop because his attempts failed, he got a man killed, and InGen is detsroying the dinos do to danger, so he wouldn't try and clone his own.
I think women can't die ebcasue they need to rpesent girls with positve images of women, and them dying doens't help acheive that

Why can't woman die in JP movies? Is it not proper. It sure is a bit of a change. I would have paid a lot to see Kelly get eaten by the T-rex in TLW, that would be funny. I would think that there will be bad guys in JP3, since why would dogson stop after 1 attempt to get the embryos?

i wonder if she is playing a bad guy? Has there been any mention that there is a team of bad guys. Like maybe dodgeson.

Strange that the original article mentions: she will star *opposite* to Sam Neill [...] Does it mean that she'll be part of the bad guys team?

I go with Simone. And judging by the paper this in, I bet Gary Hobson's laughing, saying old news.

What is this, adding another character during production, seems like someone added just to be in a death scene to me.
