I saw a movie last weekend with a playstation 2 trailer. I must say I was upset by how awful the graphics were. One game looked decent (snowboarding I think), but the rest looked real bad (I am comparing to a dreamcast, since they are both 128-bit). Like many of you, I will be waiting for a Gamecube (I heard that the price will be $150 when it is released).

I agree that Nintendo has had it if gamecube fails, but I think Gamecube will suceed and bring Nintendo back as head of the market.
though the graphics on gamecube are only slightly better then psx2 Psx2 is bloody hard to program so all the developers hate it. Gamecube on the other hand is a very easy console to develop software for so all the third party support love it.
Expect to see a LOT more game son gamecube then on N64 and decent game too.
    Shigeru Miyamoto(head of nint)
has said than any game that doesn't recieve at least 70% in magazines in america and japan will not get a release in England(where I live) so YES.

Well, Nintendo amde the N64 as a technilogicla marvel, thus limtiing games tot hsoe who could milk it for all it's worth. Whiel RARE could, amny couldn't. end result, like trying tog et a baby to program JAVA with no lessons. Ain't gonna happen.

New here but I just *had* to post after seeing the comment "nintendo always has the best games". Nintendo really dropped the ball with N64 IMHO, they have like maybe a handfull of games that I actually like. If the gamecube fails Nintendo will be cooked.

I believe they mean the other games being released, or else some of the other JP3 games scheduled for release.

IT says that they are copying the same games but in better graphics, what are they copying JP3 off of because there was never one made?
