Best way to survive a trip to JP? Be a woman or a child -- heavily armed men seem to be the most likely to get killed by dinos. (From 'Evilgrinch')

The Uk versions have no coming summer 2001 thing.

Well, it might be because I have the German versions... no "Nublar zoom", no "Coming Summer 2001" and no "Eye" LOL!

Well all that I reported was no opening scene, but this is all strange.

no, the UK dvds don't have "coming summer 2001" on them at all.

Well, I'm the one who ripped the trailers, so I would know :)

Oops.. Neo said there wasn't, so I believed him.. I haven't received the dvds yet myself, so I haven't looked at it yet.

Also, that roar at the end of the JP3 trailer isn't the roar of the new dinosaur or a dying T-Rex. It is simply the same roar used at the end of the Lost World trailer, also on the DVD. And we had the JP dvds in the UK on the 9th, not the 10th.

Yeah, I don't know what Dan is talking about.. There is, in fact, a 'Coming Summer 2001' at the end of the trailer. Unless he means something else?

    Mine says "Coming Summer 2001"...

I didn't have time, or I should say don't have time, to do anything with the trailer yet, but I'm not even sure if I want to. You guys have been giving it bad reviews.

Well, the JP3 trailer is even more disappointing when you see it fullscreen. An without the zoom and the "Coming Summer 2001" screen in the end, it looks like a self made thing: it is extremely poor!

And after watching the DivX trailer, those trees look even more CGI-ish - like I said in the comments of when the trailer was put-up by one of the on-line shops selling the DVDs.

My DVDs havn't arrived yet ( I live in Australia and I ordered them from Amazon - who apparently havn't even shipped them yet). But, I can remember the video from a while back, that showed the start-up animation from when you put the DVD in your player.

It was very similar to the opening of the JP3 trailer (maybe the JP3 trailer actually just recycled this - like everything else in it). Anyway, it was a zoom-in to Nublar...

Can someone who has the DVDs tell us if that still happens on inserting the discs?

Crap. I hope that they are still going to Nublar. All the news lately has been pointing to the fact that they're going to Sorna...

BTW, congrats Ingennet for encoding it as a DivX!!!
